Good Sunday morning all! I am going back a couple of releases ago for this card! I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card using the Ribbon Swirls embossing folder. Next I used a piece of card from my crafty stash where I had coated it with Sahara Gold Glitter Kiss. I cut the Abigail die out of it, then added a white backing to it. I used the inner cutting dir from the set to cut the centre out of it to create a frame. I added mounting foam to the back of it and added it to another piece of white card. I cut a wide strip of the Glitter Kiss card and glued it horizontally across the card. I seated the die in the centre on top of it. Using the Just Because shadowed sentiment, I cut it out of the Glitter Kiss card and added it to a white shadow. I added the sentiment to the centre of the frame with foam. I cut the Striped Nasturtiums outline dies and created three flowers. I added centres cut from the extra Glitter Kiss card and seated them around the centre die. I used Fern Fronds as accents. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" in size.
And now for another question.... during all of this Covid lockdown and social isolating, is there anything (aside from crafting) that you have had time to do that you have either been putting off or have always wanted to do? How have you been spending your extra time at home in other words? I would love to hear about your days! All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card Sue. Re your question. I am chronically sick so it has made no difference to the time spent at home, but I have loved not having to go to appointments and getting those over the phone. I have found my anxiety has also been better as I have not had to go out. I have spent more time gardening. xx Hazel
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another very pretty card and lovely to see you using the older dies, I know we all have them and forget about them, so these types of items are so useful to prompt us to get them out of the box again. Thank you.
As to the lockdown here in the UK, well it 142 days so far that I have been at home, I am too frightened to go out to be quite honest. I have been outside my door twice in all that time and this was for health reasons. As you might recall I am one of 2 sets of twins and we belong to the Twin Research Unit at St.Thomas and Kings Hospitals, we are all involved with contributing information on a daily basis towards research. We have all had a test for covid which has been negative and we continue in other ways with tests from home which are sent off to them. The database is ne of the biggest in the world so I am proud to be part of it.
There have been times when I just could not get my head around crafting, or I would start something and then leave it and go onto something else, and I think this is quite normal in these troubled times when lots of things are on hold. Thank goodness for the internet I say because it has been a lifeline for so many of us. I do watch and get involved with lots of you tube and on line crafting session which I find so very useful and yes a few things do pop through my door by the postman. So this is what my life is like now, but I am not complaining, we (my husband and family) are all safe. My niece is a nurse and I am so very proud of what she is doing, as do all our NHS and care community.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Hi Sue, another Sunday another stunning piece of inspiration, a crafty look into your designer brain lol it's truly beautiful the Sahara gold glitter kiss is amazing isn't it. I never added this frame to my list just because I need more of your hobby/interest/cute type dies for my cards but I do kind of regret having to be so picky, but that's life.
Hmmmm what a question lol. Firstly we were so thankful we'd spent a few days with our daughter her hubby and grandprincess before lockdown. My days are spent preparing for the next market or concentrating on orders but my monthly market was closed until further notice, and not knowing when I'll be back I stopped all prep. I get a few orders from a buyer at market so I get those done as they come through. Gardening is another love if and when I can so our local plant nursery sent a list of plants online which meant we could order and have a doorstep delivery. So I ordered basket and tub plants for us and my 84 year old neighbour that adores her garden and people stop to look at the beauty she creates, apart from the odd card and planting my baskets that's my lockdown story, not all that interesting I'm afraid. Looking forward to reading other stories.
STAY SAFE KEEP CARING xxx💕
Morning Sue.
A lovely card today, it is nice to see some of the older dies back.
Now about the awful lock down, First I had a good spring clean, we had nice weather,
I have also found a lot of new authors so have done a lot of reading, thanks to the
internet and our brilliant delivery service.
Take care stay safe and have fun, it is your turn now Sue what did you do?, Kitty.
Sorry Marie I forgot to mention how pleased I am you received some animals from Sue's collection, enjoy using them on your granddaughters card xx
Hi Sue, a beautiful card, good to remind us about our old dies which we sometimes move on from. Love the glitter kiss, so useful if you lack the colour of card you would like. to use. During lockdown, as we live in the countryside and because the weather was so kind to us my husband and I went for lovely long walks in secluded places. My garden also got lots of attention and further on into the lockdown I was kept busy making masks for all my friends and family. The rest of my time I spent time making cards.

Hello Sue and all
Love seeing cards from some of the older collections and Abigail with striped nasturtiums is a great choice. Gorgeous card.
The lockdown - well it has been winter so not much gardening though I did get some help to get it up to date at the beginning. I finally got rid of a piece of furniture that I did not like and staring at it in isolation was just too much. I replaced it with a lovely light white piece and am happy. Like others, YouTube has had a good workout and I am having a go at modern calligraphy.
Thank heavens for craft and our blog
Hugs

Hi SUE
Well I love ur card very much and nice to see another colour being used.
Lockdown be kind to yourself they said, l started off by cleaning everything and area that that were hard to reach I'm not a gardener but been great watching hubby transform our front and back garden l had 2 help with the 24x24 slabs hard work otherwise I been a commissioned order of 20 Christmas cards and just carried on making Christmas cards ever since and I been putting off baking after losing 2&half stone but I was forced into making cakes for hubby mostly sponges, birthdays been difficult and I'm in the north and my family down south not being able to see them has been one of hardest part and not being able to get my hair cut is now getting 2 me more than anything. Thank u so much for taking a interest, be lovely to hear how you survived apart from crafting. Owlish Xx
Beautiful card Sue, love seeing the older dies being used again.
The lockdown for me . I am in the age group that were told to remain at home for 12 weeks although I am lucky enough to be well and not on medication. The downside to that was I was unable to get any home deliveries and I also had to shop for my mother who will be 101 in three weeks time. I was very nervous and returned home as soon as I could.. I really missed seeing the grandchildren. Fortunately as restrictions were eased, I was able to be part of a bubble with my eldest daughter and grandchildren as I live alone. That was wonderful . I have found it hard to focus on things and only crafted a little but have spent a lot of time in the garden. No holiday this year but have really appreciated having a garden. My mother had a couple of falls and is now in a nursing home. She is remarkable, not on any medication but is now less mobile and needs care. We have been very lucky with the weather and I think that has been my saviour being able to just walk out into the garden.

Hello Sue, lovely rich gold card with pretty dies and great sentiment. At first in lockdown like lots of us I cleaned, and cleared things out. I have a 1 year old puppy so went on lots of long quiet walks with him and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Luckily the weather was so good then. As a puppy well, all you dog lovers will know the pleasure, but boy lots of work too.!!! Unfortunately it has affected my back and hips so struggling with the longer walks presently. Gardening and some craft when Bertie dog will let me. Family and a few friends always lovely to meet if possible. Shopping online, maybe once a week local shopping very quick as I really don't like going into shops at the moment. Difficult times for all of us. So Sue apart from crafting what are you up to? Xx
Good Morning Sue and all
A gorgeous card and I just love the design. I have so many dies but only rarely have the ones I need to follow you.
As for the using of time during lock-down,my life is not very different than it was before but strangely it 'feels'different. I am 89 years old and look it. I think I look like a wrinkled up prune but hey, there's only me in the house so who cares. My only life threatening disorder is my age but I am registered as very low vision and without my hearing aids am profoundly deaf I have not been out on my own for more than 5 years now. I spend a lot of time on my Desktop Computer and fill my head with all kinds of useless information.
As you will all know, I lost one of my adult Granddaughters 8 weeks ago and used to chat with her on Skype every evening and miss her terribly.
I am currently trying to sort out my craft room and wish I'd never started it I've found so many dies that I haven't even opened. I don't have a TV, OH dear, I'm rambling on so sorry and just want to ask Steph where in Lancashire she lives.
Thank you Sue and all the regular commentators for being a large part of my life

Good Morning Sue. Lovely card again this morning. I love to see the older dies back in use again. Thankyou for taking an interest in our lives other than crafting. But I can imagine those who are still working would have loved the extra time they have do it their loved hobby.
I have caught up with my sewing alterations...gardening.... Some Christmas cards and a little bit of baking. Along with my love for crochet and general card making. But I have really missed all my line dance classes and pupils. And can't wait to get back into new and old dances. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them this morning.Kind regards Ann Toppcards.
PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏
Love this card, it is good to see the
older dies again.
Lockdown has meant self isolation for us because of
health issues for hubby. The girls have shopped for us,
but cabin fever strikes every so often. Not made many
cards apart from finishing off my Xmas cards. A lot of
reading has been done & enjoying the garden.
Stay safe,

Morning Sue and all the Wilsonettes
What a stunning card today it's lovely to see the old dies being used.
With all that is going on in the world it is very scary, I didn't go out at all as I was one of those at risk and have only just started to venture out a little. I have been very busy in my garden having it redone with raised beds so I can carry on enjoying it as I cannot bend much these days so trying to make everything easier so I can stay independent.also getting my craft room/ spare redone so everywhere is in a mess at the moment. Iam have also picked up the knitting needles again and also brought myself a sewing machine as want to try that also
Sending love and healing hugs to all that need them xx
Hope you all have a good day and stay safe

Good morning Sue Really lovely card very elegant in white and gold During lockdown besides crafting I spent most of my time in the garden with my husband we have built new raised beds with gravel paths around them put up new trellis planted the greenhouse etc and generally tidied up the garden Thankfulky the weather was glorious so we could spend time outside Also I joined Gareth Malones online choir and enjoyed the daily rehearsals
Good morning Sue,
A beautiful card today & I love that you remind us of older dies. During lockdown I have been sorting out my die collection & got a sewing machine which I am learning to use. I also got an embroidery machine so I can make unique pieces for my Granddaughter.
Stay safe.

Lovely card I have this glitter kiss and must use it on occasions other than Christmas!
I am still working- which I am very grateful for - But at home which felt strange at first but now I love it
We now go on long walks and discover places we didn’t know existed on our housing estate We are so lucky to have a beautiful park and woods on our doorstep
Have been doing a lot of crochet- my new love too
Take care What about your lockdown?
Hello Sue, a gorgeous card, always good to see older dies being brought out and used to great effect. Love the subtle gold of the glitter kiss. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
Gorgeous card today-it would make a beautiful Christmas card too.
Michele
Hi Sue
A beautiful card.
One positive from lockdown in the UK has been all the online tutorials, I’ve learnt so much. I’ve paid for a few classes that I wouldn’t have been able to do because of distance to travel and/or not being available on that date - but being online and available to watch at a time convenient to me has been great and I can go back and watch again and rewind and stop/start.
I did finish one project that had been gathering dust for the previous 18 months: I’d bought an mdf tree and hearts that was to be a family tree wall art. I was stuck on what to do for the background and one of my online classes gave me inspiration and I now have the finished art on my wall.
Stay safe

Hello Sue
It is lovely when you revisit your older dies it gives us fresh ideas. Lock down for me was a nightmare to start with being unable to do anything and not getting the help I needed. Thankfully your blog has been a godsend. My kindle has been my saviour I have been watching you on u tube and Pinterest. I love suduko and puzzles so that filled the mornings. I love history so I have been recording programmes to watch at leisure. It has been really interesting reading about everyone Marie I wish I lived nearer to you. Take care everyone x
Lovely card, and that frame die is gorgeous :))
Another lovely post. During the lockdown - well, it is crafting related as my husband has built me a purpose built cabin for crafting so as we've had so much lovely weather there has been quite a lot of gardening to do to make the access easy so between that and the relocation of all my crafty goodies means not a lot of crafting but plenty of preparation for when it starts to get a bit cooler and the nights draw in.
Hi Sue, beautiful card love it. love Jean Z Xxxxx
I live in Bolton my love xxx
Good morning Sue
Beautiful card! I did nothing during lockdown due to my accident I was laid up for three months. I am getting there now though and sorting out jobs that need doing around the house.

Hi Sue, love this almost-but-not-quite buckle card. The Sahara Gold Glitter Kiss is so rich and I love the way you used it for the centre of the flowers.
Throughout lockdown our house was surrounded by scaffolding (it came down last week thankfully) so I was never so glad as to be able to escape into the garden. Apart from sowing vegetables and potting up flower tubs I had the time to do lots of clean-up jobs. Old flower pots have been emptied and scrubbed, greenhouse cleaned out and lots of overdue pruning done. I feel sorry for those without gardens as mine has been my saviour. On the down side my husband has more difficulties with his walking and has been unable to get downstairs for several weeks so I have plenty of exercise running up and down :-) In the beginning I had no motivation for my card making but in the evenings I was crocheting, reading, doing jigsaws or playing patience. I missed my friends at knit and natter but we set up a weekly zoom meeting (good job one of us is tech savvy lol) which helped and we are now enjoying a socially distanced afternoon in the park once a week. It really helps to have a good natter. With your inspiration Sue I have now started on my Christmas cards. Sorry if I have rabbited on, what else have you been able to do?
Frances
Morning Sue, I like to be reminded of some of the older dies and believe you me, I have many lying at the bottom of my container up in the loft.
A pretty card.
Lockdown has given me a chance to catch up on all of those jobs which I couldn't normally get to. My husband (88)and I had to self isolate for his medical reasons. So, several hospital appointments were our only reasons for leaving the house. We eventually managed to get home deliveries but have a wonderful neighbour who often gets things for us too. So we feel extremely blessed. The days seen to fly by as I love working in the garden, sewing, cooking (and eating), and I try to give myself an hour each day to craft. I'm using this year's Angel and she is beautiful. Plus, saving some money as we've not been out for coffees So now Sue, what have you been up to. (Planning new dies to tickle our taste buds?

Hi Sue
A lovely card today. During lockdown ever drawer and cupboard in the house has been decluttered, the garden has had lots of attention and I started baking again but I’m ashamed to say that I’ve only made 3 cards. However I’m going to make up for that over the next couple of days as my granddaughter Sarah is coming to stay and she wants to make cards. Also got to grips with technology and zoom calls to keep in touch with family and friends.
Love and hugs to everyone
Pat
Hi Sue. Love that rich gold colour you have managed to achieve on today's card. The beauty of those dies means that you can get quite a good splash of colour on the card.
During lockdown I managed to use up quite a bit of my crafty stash like mdf projects that I had bought a long time ago but wasn't brave enough to use before. I also spent a lot of time sorting out the outstanding issues from the residents committee. I have managed to save us all quite a bit of money so hopefully our maintenance fees can be reduced and I will have more to spend on crafty goodies. What have you been up to?
Lisbeth
Morning just ladies
I am at risk, been quite poorly though out but have kept plodding along
Made Christmas cards and read books not so many as normal though
Reading and finding out stuff from the internet, not seen family
But we are getting through it and I hope that we all get through it
Loved seeing you Sue on telly.
Stay safe and healthy all.
Elizabeth Bennett
I read each day just don’t always comment.
Hi Sue
Lovely card. As others have said always nice to see a blast from the past. Love the striped nasturtiums, forgotten about them too, especially used separately like this.
During lockdown I have decluttered, baked, and crafted. I reorganised my lounge which is so much more spacious in this layout. The garden is looking great too with lots of pots (some of which I filled with too many plants maybe, but they look spectacular), and a hanging basket and also tomato plants which I’m growing for the first time. I was going for walks around the village a lot too and saw ducklings, goslings and gorgeous spring blossoms. If I went in the evening I saw hedgehogs too. I have to say that I’ve lived in my village for 43 years and did not know that we had a wood about a mile from our house! So that was nice to discover. I have really missed going to the gym though, and my Zumba classes and feel really fat and unfit. I can sort that out soon though I hope. I wonder what you have been up to, other than designing and crafting Sue.
Love Helen xxx
Hi Sue this is a stunning card. I love it. I do have that sentiment die it is very useful. Take care. Hugs Jackie
Hi Sue what a lovely card to receive "just because".
As for me, at the start of lockdown I decided I would do something crafty every day and to keep my ladies motivated whilst we could not hold our club I would do a daily email of what I had been doing- this ended being more than crafting,a bit of gardening, what I'd seen out walking, what was on TV and the news. Added to this a weekly quiz. The main thing about it was it gave my day a focus which you need when on your own. Today will be the 138th edition - something I didn't expect at the beginning!! And despite all I've done particularly sewing and have made a big quilt for my bed my stash doesn't seem any smaller!! T
The saddest thing is that I have not been able to see my mum. She was 93 the first weekend of lockdown but her care home had already stopped allowing relatives to visit. In many ways it is fortunate that she is bed ridden so she doesn't mix with other residents and she doesn't really know what goes on. I get regular phone calls from the nurse who looks after her and she seems happy in her own little world so that is a comfort. I wonder if we will ever get back to a relatively normal life. Take care Sue. Love from Jackie
Lovely card today Sue, I have that die and use it quite often, mostly as a frame which you have done here....
During lockdown I started by having a thorough spring clean and got rid of loads of clutter, now need to get it down to a charity shop. My husband absolutely loves his garden so that is looking beautiful, I love to dehead, prune, generally clean up so between the two of us it is looking good, have loads of beans, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, lettuce, courgettes, etc, which we do have every year, but more so this...Also just lately met up with my craft club friends in the park with our chairs and drinks, just chatting, so miss out meetings. Also on the Park we usually have teas, charity events, which have been thoroughly missed. We did have a Breast Cancer Tea a few weeks back in a back garden, that was great and a big success. Have done loads of knitting, crocheting (amigurumi), fiddly but such fun....reading, jigsaws, card patience...I have not been bored at all, but there again do love my own company....Have a brother and sister in Oz, so have spent more time on Skype with them too....so all in all it has been fine. Fortunately for me I have no health issues, so have been doing shopping etc for those isolated and frail and not able to go out, but that has now eased off when home deliveries eased a bit...luv Ursula xx
Lovely card. So good to see some of your older dies.
I’ve definitely done more walking during lockdown which has been good for my back. At the beginning I did start to do some spring cleaning but the novelty of that soon wore off! X
Lovely card Sue!
Have done a lot of decluttering , reorganizing and purging! Gardening is also a big go to as well as bird watching.
A beautiful card Sue nice to see some of the old dies again .

Another lovely card, like so many other people, I have done a lot of chores I had been putting off, and a lot more Card Making, especially Christmas cards!
Lovely card!
I teach crafts (not cards) on cruise ships and during the lockdown, I have taken the opportunity to design new projects and done lots of cutting out and packaging for the next two cruises, the first of which, due in November, has been cancelled. However, the work won’t go to waste because all the materials will be used on future cruises and will save me time later on. I now have enough packed for three cruises!
I’m fortunate to live near the sea In Bournemouth and have been able to take daily walks to the beach during the glorious weather, which has been on most days. At the moment there are several cruise ships docked in the bay off our local beach, waiting to be taken back into service An interesting but very sad sight, bearing in mind all the jobs which have been put on hold during this terrible time. I will continue to be very cautious and hope you and all your followers are doing the same thing. Best wishes to you, Sue and to everyone

Hi Sue
another lovely card today Sue as always Very pretty and the sentiment is perfect.
Well what a question..
For me the internet has been a godsend I’ve watched on line videos and crafted along with Barbara G in the shak shack and probably bought far to much crafty stash. Lol 😝 It enables me and everyone to stay in touch.
I am a big supporter of the social distancing although When I have had to go out it has only to do food shops and take hubby to his various appointments. He has several health issues.
I have done some crafting it relaxes me ,I get lost in it when I sit down. but like a lot of other crafters my mojo has gone on lockdown too. Lol
I don’t have children but I worry about everyone and their families and where this pandemic is going to end.
So I will try to be more supportive to others and appreciate the work all our NHS and Shop staff police and careers all Do on the front line.
I did make some Thank You cards that I gave to the staff on the tills in shops Just Because.
Anyway you take care and stay safe And maybe you could tell us about what YOU have been doing through all this ?.........
Please take care my friend
Theresa G
Hi Sue,
Lovely card as always!
I have not used public transport since the start of the pandemic and as we don't have a car I have walked to and from the shops each week and have managed to lose a stone in weight without
trying!! The walking will have to continue! Having to spend more time at home has meant more time spent gardening. I have been putting in new plants to attract bees and butterflies.

Dear Sue
The card is really beautiful. I am from Sri Lanka.
During this period i have arranged my crafting space very carefully. I made a lot of cards too as I want to get into selling them. I am also helping some friends to do their chores too. Getting crafty goodies from overseas i want is a no no as post is not working. I got some crafty stuff from an online store in Sri Lanka but I dont purchase dies or inks as I dont get what I want. Blessings
Love this beautiful card! My favorite dies are he Striped Nasturtiums and the Abigail die but I like everything about it including all the texture.

Lovely card and I actually have all the components I believe. Probably a good one to try out.
During this time, I decided to get a new puppy. I lost my sweet little puppy in my picture who was born with a compromised liver that could not be fixed with surgery. I also had a 16 year old fellow who died in June.I have always had a dog or a few and used to volunteer at our humane society so being here alone mostly, I needed a dog. Any how, this puppy is a handful. She is teething and chews on everything and anything plus house training. She is a love and takes my mind off everything. She is very comical.
I have been making cards, mostly birthdays, thinking of you, etc.I have not started on Christmas cards. I usually do them starting in October but this year I might move up the time.
We have had to cancel a trip to Montana to see my grandson who is now 2 and growing up fast. I have not seen my sister since February and miss her as she lives across the state. We are close and usually see each other every other month.
Other than missing friends and family, I have been OK. I love to read, I watch movies and You Tube and make cards.I have been cooking more. Walk the puppy. I am getting up very early and its nicer, cooler then. We have had hot, muggy weather with afternoon thunderstorms.
Not very exciting but not really a sacrifice either during this bleak time.
I hope everyone here continues to keep safe.

Sorry didn’t comment yesterday. A lovely card & so good to see the older dies being used. Perhaps you could have one day a week when you revisit the older dies as everyone seems pleased to see them?
Well I have had a strange lockdown. In January I packed up my craft room ready to move house at the end of January. That fell through & then we were moving the week after Mothering Sunday, but then of course Covid intervened. I decided to unpack some of my craft things & did some basic cards. Suddenly at the beginning of May we were asked to move within a week, we managed to delay it until the beginning of June but then had to do the 200 mile move. It was difficult being unable to say goodbye to everyone In perso & now we have moved difficult to meet people or join new groups. But having said that there has been plenty of time to sort my new craft room out!
Gorgeous card!
A lovely card.
Hugs from Toronto to you all.
Stay safe and healthy.
