Happy Everything

Hello crafters!  I used Blue Wisteria Opal Polish to create the lovely coloured background on today's card offering.  I coated a piece of card with it and allowed it to dry well.  Next I cut it down in size to fit and used the Quilted Pillow Embossing folder to add texture.  I cut the embossed piece into three sections and added mounting foam to raise them and added them onto a piece of white card.  I cut the Magnolia Corner in white and glued it to the left side of the card.  I used the extra Opal Polished background piece and cut enough flowers to make three dimensional flowers to add to the Magnolia Corner.  I used the Decorative Flag die cut in white and added it from the centre section of the Magnolia Corner.  The Happy Everything sentiment was cut out of the background card and a black die cut was used as a shadow  I glued it to the flag die.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7" in size.   All for now. Sue x

  10. Hello Sue
This is stunning I will definitely have to pin it. I am back from my holiday we had a lovely time it was like when my daughters were little and we didn't have much money. We made our own entertainment, playing board games and watching films. To see my 13year old granddaughter with a bucket and net catching creatures from rock pools instead of on her phone was amazing. Take care everyone x

  21. Good Morning Sue. Ohhh I love it ... I love it when you do blue... And this is no exception. A beautiful card today. I love the embossing folder... I have this... and the magnolia corner die... So later on today I just might recreate this one with a little minor alteration... So it's not an exact copy for a lovely friend of mine who has birthday coming up. Thankyou so much Sue. You and our lovely Wilsonette bloggers have kept me sane over the last month's of lockdown. If I hadn't had this lovely craft and card making I think I would have gone mad. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them this morning.Kind regards Ann Toppcards.

  32. Hi Sue, a really beautiful card, love it. The Blue Wisteria polish makes the Quilted Pillow EF look just like a luxurious satin quilt. I don't know why the Magnolia Corner is still missing from my collection, I must correct that soon.

Trish - happy that you enjoyed your holiday. Too many of today's children don't get the chance to appreciate the simpler things in life, maybe your granddaughter can show some of them the way :-)
