So Glad We're Friends

Hello bloggers!  I pulled out my Large Polka Dot mask for today's card.  I also used the Moonlit Pink Luna Paste and the Moonlit Sea Luna Paste.  I randomly pulled both colours through the mask to create a soft blending of the colours.  I set it aside to dry well.  Next I cut two frames using the Noble Stitched Octagons out of white card.  I cut one small and one larger.  I added a plain white backing to the smaller one and cut the So Glad We're Friends die out of a piece of extra card that I filled in with some of the excess Luna Paste.  I added that to the centre of the mask background with foam.  I added the larger frame to the outer portion of the mask and nipped away the excess from the edges of the mask.  I used the Rope Chain embossing folder and embossed a larger piece of coconut white card and attached the Octagon to it with foam.  I cut the Cosmos Flowers out of the extra Luna Paste card then added white outlines on top.  I seated three Cosmos Flowers around the frame and added Magnolia Corner pieces as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  26. Hi Sue. What a lovely card with just the right amount of luna paste to not overpower the rest of the design. Love the use of it with the larger dots which shows up the different colours in the luna paste itself.

I think using Luna Paste through a mast is stunning. And it shows off the beauty of the paste so well. Amazing sheen. Lovely effect of mixing the two colors of the Luna Paste, too. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs

  39. This card is lovely. I need to attempt a tweaked version of it. I have been a bit more crafty these past few days. My new puppy is settling down (sort of, a bit) and I can sneak bits in when she naps. She is a chewer. Can't wait for teething to be over with this little one. My other puppy passed away at 10 months of liver disease and I missed her so much especially in these times but I am starting over on training.
    Everyone, stay safe please,
