Best Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I strarted this card by coating a piece of card with the Violet Vibe Lustre Polish.  Once dry, I embossed it with the Dotty Flourish 3D embossing folder.  I used the Snow & Ice Lustre Polish and went over the embossed areas lightly to add highlights.  I use a double strip of pearls cut down the centre and embellished the top and bottom edge of the background.  Next I used the Decorative Squares to cut one large frame and two smaller sized frames.  I also cut the outer decorative die from the Joanie die set to create a thin frame.  I added mounting foam to the squares and seated them in a diamond orientation acorss the card.  I used the Joanie frame and tucked it under the four points from the largest square to add an accent.  I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with the Decorative Flag die  and added it across the centre of the largest frame with mounting foam.  I used the extra flowers from the Magnolia Corner to add three flowers.  I used the Snow & Ice Lustre Polish to add a hint of colour to them before assembling them.  I glued them to the right of the sentiment flag.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous sample today, when I first opened it, it reminded me of an edwardian belt buckle like the matrons used to wear - silly I know but that is inspiration for yo. I do hope you are doing OK over there in the US, it is hard I know but we must all keep safe.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  4. What a beautiful piece of regal inspiration. It almost takes me back to the designs you treated us to a few years ago where you interlocked dies this way, it was stunning then and it's still as stunning today, I'm so pleased I can start every day with Particraft and friends.
PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE. EVERY LIFE IS PRECIOUS xxx

  16. Good Morning Sue. Ohhh wow what a statement this morning. This is beautiful. The lustre and shine on the background is gorgeous... But... I wonder if anyone sees what I see ... Your lovely flowers... It's a trick of the light from the camera... The reflection from the snow and ice lustre polish makes the flowers look like jewelled glass or diamonds. The whole card is lovely. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them this morning. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
    PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏

Lovely embossing folders that you use, I must do a search for them. Thank you Sue for all your inspiration.

  34. I agree with Scottydog's assessment: Dramatic card! I love the color you achieved with the Lustre Polish. I just received 3 SW embossing folders but unfortunately not this one. This is a masterpiece.

Beautiful design today. Your use of the Violet Vibe Lustre Polish and a highlight of Snow and Ice Lustre Polish is a lovely combination resulting in rich and tantalizing colors. Your Joanie die sits perfectly behind one of the Decorative Squares. Your choice of the Dotty Flourish 3D Embossing Folder certainly is a cohesive marriage with the circle edging element of the Decoration Squares. Thanks for the inspiration. Now I just need a few more Lustre Polishes. Hugs
