Especially For You

Hello there my crafty friends!  It's an edger card for today's offering!  I started with a piece of coconut white card and embossed it with the new Quilted Pillow embossing folder (I love this one!)  Next I cut the Martha Edgers out of tan card four times.  I used the single matching edger to cut strips of black card four times, then glued them together and cut the other side of the black so they all matched.  I added them in a square on top of the embossed background, cutting all of the corners so they matched up (sort of).  I used the Double Stitched Circles and cut a multi-layered frame with a wider tan base and a thinner black frame on top.  I added it to the centre of the card with foam mounting tape.  I cut the Especially For You in tan and black, shadowed it and glued it in the centre.  I made two Jasmine flowers and used the matching Jasmine Stamps.  I added the flowers and cut pieces of the Magnolia Corner as accents around it.  The card was completed with white, tan and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  34. My first thought was what a pretty frame die until I realized it was borders. I love the quilt embossing folder background also. This is a very effective card and not hard to complete.
I have been playing with SW quilt dies for a week....using up a 6X6 paper pack and paper piecing. Soothing and I have sent out a graduation, sympathy and birthday from my pile of finished cards from this.
    Have a good day everyone,

There is just no end to the creative designs one can do with your Endless Edgers. I, for one, spend a full day doing nothing but cutting and rearranging one Endless Edger set of pieces to create different patterns. You named this collection of dies perfectly for all the possibliles in designs one can make using them. Your card design today proves the versatility of just one set of your Endless Edger dies. Loving your color combination as well as the overall design. You are so clever, Sue Wilson. Thanks for the inspiration once again. Hugs
