Baby Baby Baby

Hello crafters!  I think it's time for another sweet baby card!  I had a nice dig through some old decorative paper and found the teal striped paper and the matching teal polka dot paper and decided to use them as the background for this card.  I cut both of them into triangular shapes and added foam to raise them.  I added them to opposite corners of a piece of white card, leaving a wide gap between them.  In the upper area, I cut a Double Stitched Circle in white and added it with foam.  I tucked the donkey from the Farm Animals set inside cut out of blush card.  I used the Stars from the Twinkle Twinkle Clouds And Stars set in different sizes cut out of white, blush  and aqua card.  I cut another circle for the lower section and added the pig from the Farm Animals set in Blush card.  I added more stars around the lower section.  I cut the word "Baby" from the Newborn Sentiments set three times out of teal card and glued them along the recess.  I cut more stars and scattered them on top in the recess area.  The card was completed with white on white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  4. Hi Sue I love the mix of your various baby collection dies, if this inspiration doesn't show the variation of use of use to new comers nothing will, in pink, pale blue (aqua) lemon or mint this will look so pretty for the nursery wall to welcome a new special life - beautiful.

    Not my usual morning lol the final recording last night failed (my day is done by 9pm thanks to medication) so I couldn't pretend how much I loved your demo, I don't do 'porkies' so I had to watch on C&C catch up on my phone (the battery gave up) LOL so I'm standing by the plug where I recharge my phone as I say - how lovely for you to demo from your kitchen and you did perfectly as ever, I'm just so vexed that last night's show hasn't joined the other 40 or so programs in our little black box ! Sending love to you and total relief that you look so we'll xxx

    STAY SAFE AND SENSIBLE KEEP CARING KEEP CRAFTING you are all so precious xxx

    Lovely baby card Sue;
    I love it.

    I also loved to watch you last evening and you looked great.
    I did have a little trouble with the sound but that could have been from my hearing aids.
    Technology is so wonderful these days isn't it? The three of you could have been in the same room.
    Thank you Sue.

  28. Hi Sue and everyone. I hope you're all well. Such a sweet new baby card, these little animals are adorable. As everyone else has said it would make a great keepsake and look perfect in a frame. I haven't had to make a new baby card for ages. It was fab seeing you last night in Jamie's show on Create and Craft, I've gotta watch the 9pm one on catch up as I missed that one. Hopefully you will be back on the show in person soon or do more demos on the upcoming Christmas shows. Hugs Donna x

    Oh, your baby card is so sweet with your adorable farm animals. Love it. You do the recessed designs so well and this card is no exception. I thought your donkey was a horse. I like how your decorative papers look together that you used on this design. Well done. Will get to your shows on replay on C & C today. Hugs

  32. Hi Sue, a very sweet card and thanks for the reminder to mix and match toning papers; I have stacks of paper that I always forget to use. I enjoyed Jamie's shows yesterday and it was really special to see you (love your kitchen, by the way) demonstrating in your usual brilliant way. If the current problems go on for much longer maybe you could do it again?
