Not Older, Just Better

Hello bloggers!  Out came the pixie  powders for today's creation!  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used Midnight Blue, Purple Violet and Teal Wash pixie powders.  I spritzed them with water then added another layer to make them more intense in colour.  Once dry, I cut the Dotty Scalloped Background die out of the piece.  I used the die to cut another one out of white card and used it as an offset shadow behind the background.  I added a black backing behind both of them.  I used the Double Stitched Squares to cut a wide frame out of white card and added it with foam.    Next, I cut all three of the Dotty Balloons in white gloss card and added a white backing to them.  I added strings to each of the balloons and mounted them in the upper corner of the frame.  I cut the Not Older, Just Better sentiment in white and glued it to the opposite corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8" in size.  All for now.
