Rose Lady

Hello bloggers!  The other addition to the new Perfect Portraits category is the Rose Lady.   This sample card has been done in a completely different style with the Roses and leaves being inked with Distress Oxide inks and the rest of the image in black and white for a nice contrast.  I love that you can keep these simple and elegant or go to town with some great backgrounds, so many fun options are available.  Think pixie powders, alcohol inks, gilding flakes or polishes, the sky is the limit!  If you are drawn to this one, why not leave a quick comment on the post so your name will be in the drawing to win it.  Also, please feel free to use the Pinterest Pinit button to save any of the cards on your boards so you can use the ideas or layouts when needed.  I will be back here with the third post for the day at 3pm.    All for now,
Sue x

  7. This one doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid. I think it is the way that the Roses cover up most of the faceinstead of just framing it, as the flowers did on the first die, but I suppose that the flowers could be removed, or am I wrong?

  17. Hi Sue. Well it is more WOW, WOW, WOW from me !!! I absolutely LOVE the card and die set !!! The Rose Lady looks soooo Elegant !!! I love this one so much I have been online and ordered it !!! so please don't put me in the draw for this one. But I have to say I think it is stunning and I am starting my crafty journey with the Rose Lady especially for mine and hubbys two Mum's for Mothers Day as I think the Rose Lady looks perfect for an older lady. The Butterfly Lady looks to me to be a bit more suited to a younger lady. ( Just personal opinion.) But trust me Sue, the Papillion Lady will not be left behind !!! 😉 She is too beautiful. 18. I see many 'Wilsonettes' sitting with mouth wide open in total ore with this collection and hopefully our designer sitting back smiling and thinking 'yes I've done it'
You certainly have, what amazing designs. If only the USA gave O.B.E's you would certainly deserve one for your contribution to the craft world. Your simply the best xxx

  53. In this Perfect Portraits, Rose Lady, you have given her such a lovely personality. A different die design than your previously released dies, but I love it. As I study this lovely lady encompassed with roses, to me you have captured the essence of Art Nouveau. Another portrait die to embellish with multi-media. This is a fun design. Well done.
