Hello bloggers! Today's offering is a pale blue and silver colour combo. I started with a piece of
Arctic Blue card and used the decorative die from the
Anita die set and cut it randomly all over the card. I backed it with a piece of
sticky adhesive sheet that I added to a piece of white card. I put the two pieces together then used
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the remaining exposed adhesive areas. Next I cut two diagonal cuts across the centre of the card. I added mounting foam to the top and bottom pieces, leaving the two inch strip in the middle as is. I added them to a piece of white card, positioning all the pieces back together as they were cut. I cut another
Anita die out of
Antique Silver card, backing it in white. I cut the inner die from the set in white and layered it on top. I added it with foam to the top [art of the card. I cut the
Noble Warm Wishes out of silver card and added them to a white shadow. I added the words to the lower portion of the card with foam. The card was completed with white, Arctic Blue and Antique Silver card mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteHello Sue and all
ReplyDeleteLov1ely card today. Always like a background of dies cut out and lots of glitter. The colours are gorgeous too. It is so nice to see those cool colours as we are smoked out here at the moment from the horrific bushfires that have been happening for over a month now.
Christmas just about organised though, cards all finished and ready to start on next years birthday list - after a beak over Christmas.
Hugs

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened to my comment yesterday but first of all let me say that I love your snowflake border and have used it for my 6 'special cards' this year.
I envy you your perfect eyesight when you do cards like this one, cutting into the background and then matching the dies up.
Belated Happy Birthday Stephanie; believe you me; in another 10 years you'll be wishing that you were 60. Life is what you make it. Enjoy .
