For You

Good Sunday morning all! I started with a piece of black card and taped the Polka Dot mask to it.  Using Frosty Sparkle Glitter Kiss, I pulled it through the mask using a palette knife.  I carefully removed the tape from the mask and set it aside to dry thoroughly.  On a piece of white card, I used the same Glitter Kiss and coated the card and set it aside to dry too.  I used the Double Stitched Squares and made a multi layered frame using a wider white base and a thin black frame on top.  I attached it to the mask background once it was dry.  Next I cut the Eliza die out of a section of the glittered card.  I attached it to the centre of the frame with mounting foam.  I used the inner die from the set to cut a centre die out of black card.  I used this for the base for my sentiment.  The For You shadowed die was cut from another section of the glitter card and added to a white shadow, then glued to the black base.  I used the Petal Pocket Flowers and created three flowers, attaching them in opposite corners with leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.   The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  8. Morning Sue,
Thanks for reminding me to find my petal pocket flower dies. I'm drowning in Christmas dies at present, so it's refreshing to see a beautiful non Christmas card this morning. Hugs xx Pauline

    Good Sunday Morning Sue.
Thank you for another Inspirational card.
I love the background and don't quite understand how you did that but will go back later and have another look.
I've been busy with a baby card this week as I now have 7 Great Grandchildren. Emily was born on Tuesday and I was taken to see her yesterday so I delivered the card myself. Without your inspiration over the past few years Sue, I would not have been able to do that.
Thank you for everything you do for us.

  40. Hi Sue. Wow! What a really eye-catching card today - it really popped when I opened the post. Love it all especially the silver and the glitter against the black. I love using black card for the drama it creates, but unfortunately a lot of people don't like the use of black (they don't know what they are missing)

  42. Hello Sue,

This is really an eye-catching card. I am not one for black and white anything, however I like the combination here with the Glitter Kiss. I can imagine how sparkly it is in person.

Hope that you are having a wonderful day.
