You Are The Best

Hi crafters!  Today's card is a Quilt card made using the Ring Quilt die set.  I started by cutting it in white card and I backed it with white.  I glittered four of fall away pieces with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbirz and glued them back into the outer corners.  I made a multi layered frame using an Old Rose card base and a thinner white frame added to the top.  I attached it with mounting foam over the Ring Quilt card.   I cut a smaller square out of white card and added a white base .  With mounting foam, I attached it in a diamond orientation in the centre of the card.  I cut the You Are the Best sentiment out of Old Rose card and glued it into the centre of the card.  I used the Cosmos Flower die set to add three flowers made from Old Rose card as the base with white
 outlines on top.  I seated the flowers in the corner of the card and in the opposite corner of the sentiment.  The card was completed with white and Old Rose mats and layers.  the finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. I hope today's comment makes more sense than yesterday's lol goodness knows where my brain was at but it obviously wasn't completely awake at that time so here's well are with the most beautiful way to start a day, as soon as the picture loaded I woke up its just gorgeous absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately I don't own anything of the quilt dies but everyone that does really makes the most stunning works of art. So whatever your plans for today have fun xxx

    I don’t know what it is that attracts me to this card, perhaps it’s the colour ( I do love that old rose ) or maybe it’s the beautiful flowers or could it be that touch of sparkle? Any way I think you can guess that I really really like it

    Always love the way you turn a focal frame on the diagonal. Doing this brings the eye straight to the focal area. Your Cosmos Flowers and leaves are a lovely accent on this design.
