Hi bloggers! From bright colours yesterday to black and white today! Just keeping you on your toes! LOL I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the straight die from the
Dotty Streamer die set along both of the side edges of the card. In the centre, I used the outer decorative die from the
Mallory die set. I added black card behind it for contrast. I cut the Mallory die in black and then added it with mounting foam. I cut the
To A Dear Friend sentiment in both white and black. I shadowed it and then glued it to the rectangle centre die from the
Mallory and added it to the card. Using the
Cosmos Flower die set, I cut the solid part in white and added a black outline on top. I added three flowers around the focal element, then accented the, with white leaves. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card again today. I love the black and white contrast and I agree with Sharon that if you took away the flowers it would be fine for a man. Actually I just had a thought, Replace the flowers with clocks or cogs and it would become a male card.

I love black and white cards although I am always worried that the recipient might not like them.
However your card will look equally as good in other colours.
