Hello crafters! This is a little different take on the Star of Wonder. I started by cutting the Stardust Background into a piece of coconut white card. Next I used the Star Of Wonder and cut an aperture in the centre of it. I used several different colours of card to back the stardust background with including silver, cobalt and navy blue. I hand cut them to fit in behind the dotty swirls of the background. Next I added foam to the back of it to raise it. I used a small piece of blue pixie powdered card (Midnight Blue and Peacock Green) that I had in my stash behind the star aperture. Next I cut a larger piece of cobalt blue card and used the Falling Snow Embossing folder on it. I added the star aperture to the centre of it with the foam. I cut the Season's Greetings out of the same pixie powdered piece then added it to a white shadow and attached it below the star. The card was completed with white and blue mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 " in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Sue, just back from a week in deepest Norfolk where Wi-fi is a secret word! I had to stand on a hill with my arm in the air to get a mobile signal! So I am sitting down with a cuppa going through a week of lovely samples. This one looks as if it will be a very good batch card & I just love pixies so will be in my element! Thank you Sue for all your inspiration.
