Merry & Bright

Hi crafters!  This one is a personal favourite of mine, I just love the sparkle from the Iced Flake!  I started by cutting the Pretty Poinsettia frame in black and gluing it to a piece of acetate.  I used the Rose Quartz Crystal Tint to fill in the poinsettias and a dot of the yellow citrine tint for the centres.  After it dried, I added another die cut of the frame in white and slightly offset it to use the black one as a shadow.  I cut the Ruffled Edge Frame die in white as a background for it, then cut thee centre rectangle from the set in white and added a red backing to it.  I layered it up and then went back to the Pretty Poinsettia frame to add a backing to it.  I cut the outer shape out of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet attached to it.  I applied the Iced Flake to the exposed adhesive, then glued the poinsettia frame over the top of it so it showed through the acetate.  I added everything to a larger piece of white card and used the Merry & Bright sentiment on the bottom of it.  I cut it in red and black and offset it, then added it to the white shadow die from the set.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Good Morning Sue and all.
A fabulous card indeed, but despite the fact that my craft room is full of 'stuff' I don't have any of the dies so I will have to start a list for next year.
I think this card will be very near the top of said list.
    Hugs.
