Happy Birthday

Good Sunday morning all!  I have been using the Glitter Kiss once again for today's sample card.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and covered it with Frosty Sparkle Glitter kiss and allowed it to dry thoroughly.  Next I cut the Celtic Square Background out of it.  I left a small border all the way around and backed it with Powder pink card.  I used some of the fall away pieces and paper pieced them back into the design.  Next I cut some Striped Nasturtium flowers out of Powder Pink.  I added the solid backing to them which I cut from left over parts of the Glitter Kiss background.  I made three flowers and attached them to the card on the left side in a cluster.  I cut a Pierced Flag in white and glued the Happy Birthday sentiment to it.  I attached it across the card and tucked the end under the flowers.  The flowers were accented with white Fern Fronds.  White and pink mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  6 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Oh Sue this is absolutely gorgeous, the subtle strawberry and vanilla glisten, the design, who wouldn't be thrilled to receive a card like this, I for one wouldn't be feeling so down about leaving my 50's behind if I opened a stunner like this.

    WOW card this morning , its so beautiful. I love the powder pink with the glitter kiss , it really changes the feel of the celtic square and makes it complety look like another die. The Nasturtiums just finishes the card of beautifully.

    Hi Sue, I love the pastel tones of this really pretty card and the glitter kissed Celtic Square and the base of the Nasturtiums look stunning. You have such patience to paper piece so many tiny pieces back in but it is worth it.

    Keeping the fall away pieces in the die cut gives it a totally different look. I didn't even recognize the Celtic background. This is a very feminine pretty card. The sparkle ads just the right touch too.
