Hi crafters! I selected white, Cobalt blue and black for today's offering. I cut the top layer of the
Tina die into the edge of a square piece of coconut white card. I cut it all the way around the card. Next I cut the
Millie die into the centre before add my next layers onto the Tina cut outs. Next I decided to use the black card as my middle colour for the borders and cut four of them into black card strips. Since I wasn't sure what colours I wanted to use before I started, I added the second layer in strips behind the white (that way I was able to play with the colours a bit before deciding). I used the
Cobalt blue for the base and behind the Millie cut out area. I made a thin frame using the
Double Stitched Squares and added it with foam. I made another frame using the
Double Stitched Circles and added it with foam too. I used the
All The Best sentiment cut out of Cobalt and I added a black card shadow then put all the pieces on to the white shadow backing from the die set and added foam to it to attach it in the circle frame. I completed the card with white, black and Cobalt mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteOh Millie is so beautiful, yes just as Anne said, had to have her as soon as she was released and is such a favourite. I am still waiting to get back to my craft room, plaster is off but still very sore, lots of physio but Millie is one of the first dies I will be making a bee line for. The colours are gorgeous too.
Thank you Sue,
