Happy Anniversary

Hi crafters!  Here's a lovely card that can be used for so many occasions!  I started by cutting the Diagonal Background out of coconut white card.  I backed it with Powder pink.  I made a multi layered frame with a Powder pink base and a thick white frame on top and attached it over the background with foam.  Next I stamped the Pleated Heart STDF and cut it out with the Woven Heart die.  I used Distress Markers to colour it in (Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick)  I seated it in the centre of the frame with foam.  I cut the Happy Anniversary die in powder pink and added a black shadow, then glued it to the bottom of the frame.  I completed the card with white, powder pink and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.    All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. What a beautiful sample. So special if embossed in gold for a golden anniversary also silver for a 25th anniversary and a deep ruby for a 40th, but imagine a white on white with a touch of vellum for a wedding card, I'm in need of this gorgeous stamp now I have a stamping platform my confidence has grown.     That STDF is amazing. The Filigree Artistry collection is the next on my hit list. That background die is spectacular.
    I had not had a chance to look at Saturdays post and having just done so can I say Happy Belated Birthday to the blog! Oh my - 10 years old. June is quite the month for Birthdays isn’t it Sue?

    A pretty card for any romantic occasion. I do like that you have used a STDF and cut it with the die, as its often so hard to visualise how these will look when cut.

    Good morning Sue. This blog was so difficult to find this morning that I almost gave up. I wonder if anyone else is having problems. However, it was worth the hassle as this is,as always, a beautiful card and has so many possibilities. I will add the name of the die to my list of Sue Wilson wants and hope that it will soon be in my stash.
