Many Thanks

Hi bloggers!  It's a one die, one sentiment card for today's offering!  I started with a pierce of white card and a piece of arctic blue card lined up together.  I used the second layer die from the centre of the Anna die set and cut it into all four corners, taking care to keep the two card colours lined up.  Next I too just the top white layer and lined up the  cutting die from the centre of the Anna die over each of the four cut out areas and re cut them.  This way the two layers line up perfectly when you put them together.   I added a piece of white card as the back layer. Next I cut the large die from the Anna using Bluebell for the top layer, Arctic Blue for the middle layer and white for the bottom layer.  I cut thee centre die again but used white as the top, Blue bell as the middle layer and Arctic Blue as the base layer.  I added the centre to the larger section, then seated it in a diamond orientation in the centre of the card.  I used the Many Thanks sentiment cut in black with a very thin blue shadow behind and then added to the shadow die which I cut in white and glued it to the centre of the card.  White, black and Bluebell mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x 7 1/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  3. Gorgeous card, I saw this card previously and I made one similar to it. I love these triple layered dies. I also won the Roselyn in your giveaway and have used the same layout with that. Beautiful dies, so different.

One die, one sentiment equals one perfect card. I'm really enjoying these triple layer dies and the the gentle display of color that they allow.

  9. Good morning Sue. Beverly has literally taken the exact words I was thinking, one die and sentiment makes for perfection so what more can I say other than I hope my cardstock arrives at my local little craft shop today, I'm not sure who to blame for that expense - the colour designer for Foundations, CE, or Julia for tempting me whilst doing your demo's on BANK HOLIDAY SUE ! I wrote my fav colours down checked my craft bank balance and text the owner of my local shop, who ordered from CE Tuesday, maybe I should blame my willpower lol.
Thanks for today's amazing inspiration Sue with your gorgeous layering dies, absolute perfection and I hope your day is too xxx

  12. Good Morning Sue. This is just up my street...it's absolutely stunning. How on earth do you do this to us...My mother used to use " Anna " as a pet name for me before she died...when I was much younger...so yes...it has a nostalgic meaning for me. Thankyou Sue.
And what a great card for my last day at home for three weeks. I am going to Turkey this afternoon...my most favourite place in the world...so I am sorry Sue if I can't comment every morning. I know there isn't any WiFi in our rooms. We have to go to reception for it. But you can bet if I can comment I will. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

  32. Hi Sue
I love it when you make a card using just the one Die, I don’t have any of the triple layer dies yet but I’m very tempted by Anna. Beautiful card and lovely subtle colours

    Love and hugs to everyone

Hi Sue, sorry I didn't comment yesterday but I couldn't get any reception and have just seen your African style card which is lovely. Obviously, I do have these animal dies and use them quite a lot for the male members of our families.
Today's is so pretty and love the colours. I must invest in some of the bluebell colour especially having seen carpets of them on our walk around Rydal water today.
The background is lovely too. Hugs xx Pauline

  41. Absolutely fabulous!! I have just returned from holiday and the first thing I see facing me as I open the blog is a card very much like cards I have made with this gorgeous die. I have made quite a few different designs, mostly for males in brown, tan and cream as well as dark and light blue with white.
I then scroll back through the blogs which have been posted since I left home to find that I have won a die from the last release. What a bonus! Thank you Sue.
