Just For You

Hi there my crafty friends!   I used the Bountiful Blossoms 3D embossing folder to add texture to the background.  Next, I cut the Matilda die in white and added a black shadow to it, then finished it with a white backing.  I added pearls to all the centres of the flowers.  I added mounting foam to the back then added it to the lower portion of the background.  Next I cut the Petunia Flower Square in white.  I used some Pixie Powdered card to paper piece the flower and leaves.  I added the flower to a backing covered with sticky adhesive sheet, then glittered the remaining background with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I cut another Petunia in black, then off set it over the paper pieced one.  I added the entire thing to a larger square cut with the Double Stitched Squares and attached it above the border.  I cut the Just For You sentiment in black and glued it below the border.  White and black mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  3. Well good morning Sue, what else is there to say but gorgeous, another beautiful sample to end the week and take us into the weekend. I have some purple /pink pixie drying to use behind my Petunia die as last year I filled my planters with a certain petunia, and the perfume was stunning just adorable so I'm hoping to replicate them if only colour wise. Thanks for a wonderful week of inspiration xxx
