Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  Here's a pretty card from the October release.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the Abigail die decorative cutting die to cut into the card on both the left and right sides of the card.  there was a bit of overcut in the very centre, but it doesn't show when you are done.   I cut the Abigail die again out of white and added a Lilac card backing to it.  I added it with foam to the centre of the card in a diamond orientation.  I cut the centre of the die in white, added a lilac card backing and added it with foam to the centre.  I used the Just Because Shadowed sentiment cut in white then shadowed in white and another thin black shadow.  I made three white dimensional flowers using the Layered Carnation die set.  I glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and seated the, around the focal element with white leaves.  I cut a larger piece of card and edged it with double sided tape, then used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to add a shimmery edge.    The card was completed with white, lilac and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  10 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Morning Sue. A true SW sample no mistaking who designed the dies, no mistaking who designed the sample, although I've seen something very similar made by Beverly and I've also seen some gorgeous cards made with these dies on Paul's fb group, so much wonderful talent in one group. As I wrote above, this is full of sheer elegance and amazing beautiful inspiration thank you. Have a wonderful day wherever you are xxx

  14. A very pretty card with the soft lilac showing through. I bet it is stunning in real life as the glitterbitz on the carnations don’t really show in the pictures. Thank you Sue.

  16. Hello Sue and all
Oh, this is such a gorgeous card. Love the Abigail die, in fact, I think that although I love all of your releases, the October one was most probably the most expensive you have ever had for me, it has to be my favourite ever. Oh hang on, Christmas releases, mmm, I guess there are quite a few lol !!
I hope you are enjoying your travels Sue,
    Hugs
