For You

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started this card by cutting four of the Hexagonal Borders in white.  I glued them to the edges of a piece of Blue Dusk card and mitred all the corners with my scissors.  Next I cut the Lottie die in booth white and black.  I used the black as a shadow and offset it behind the white one.  I cut a black and a white square as a base for my sentiment and attached it in a diamond orientation.  I used the For You cut in Blue Dusk with a black shadow as the sentiment.  I cut and stamped several of the Layered Carnation and assembled them and scattered them across the die around the sentiment.  The card was completed with white, black and blue dusk mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.

A quick note to let you know that our new demonstrator, Jamie Rodgers, will be on Create and Craft today at 8am and 3pm showing off my new Wedding themed dies!  I have seen his samples and they are absolutely gorgeous.  You are going to want to watch him in action!  There is also one more show on Saturday morning at 7am too!  All for now. Sue x

  4. Hi Sue
Oh wow. The Hexagonal Border looks wonderful in this configuration. Don’t think I would be able to mitre that neatly. It really is a gorgeous card.
Off to Bath in a little while. Never been there before and have always heard how beautiful it is. Will record today’s shows - don’t want to miss out!
    Happy Friday everyone

  5. Morning Sue, oh this is gorgeous, love it, I would love to see this on one of your video's, any chance?. Yes I will be watching C&C with Jamie, he is a very talented crafter, I have learnt a lot from his you tubes. I know I will be over the moon because I purchased the wedding collection dies already, just in case......well you never know what is round the corner, there must be one of my friends or family getting married or renewing their vows. Ha ha, well I can always hope.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  6. Morning Sue another gorgeous card that shows just what an inspirational designer and crafter you are. The ideas you share are never ending and always make me smile first thing. I have the Special Occasions dies on my gift list so hopefully before the end of 2019 I will have a few to add to my collection.
I appreciate we all need to rest plus enjoy what life offers us, but selfishly I hope that the reason Jamie is showing your dies isn't because you are starting to wind down tv work cuz apart from YouTube it's the only way I can watch a true crafter and designer work her magic, whatever your reason it will be the right one for you I'm sure.
Have a lovely day whatever your plans for this Friday xx

Good afternoon from Longridge Sue and all.
Sorry I haven't commented for a week but I've just returned from an unexpected week in hospital and as I don't have a cell phone I was pretty well cut off from everyone.
I haven't unpacked yet but came straight to my P.C. to look for your offering for the day and it is wonderful as always. I had over 270 e-mails in my box but this is the only one I'm looking at for now.

    All for now.
