Many Thanks

Hi crafters!  Start by cutting the top layer of the Elsa Background die out of Powder Pink card.  Cut the same layer again out of black card.  Cut the second layer out of Old Rose card.  I attached the powder pink and black die cut by slightly offsetting the black die cut underneath to create a shadow.  Next, I lined up the powder pink and black die cuts over the Old Rose second layer and glued them  together and added a piece of white card as a backing.  Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I created a frame cut out of coconut white card.  I attached it over the background with mounting foam and trimmed away the excess card.  I used the Many Thanks shadowed sentiment and cut the words in black an attached them to the shadow base cut in white.  I made a floral accent using the Petite Forget Me Not  dies, making one flower out of Old Rose card and the other one out of Powder Pink card.  I attached to the left hand corner of the frame and added several leaves cut in white as accents.  I completed the card with  powder pink and old Rose mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 1/2” x  7” in size.  All for now, Sue x

  8. Hello Sue and all
Elsa looks so pretty in her powder pink, old rose and the black shadows to make her stand right out. I love the petite forget me nots, a go to flower when something smaller is required and use your shadowed sentiments for nearly every card now, they are brilliant.

Morning Sue, a beautiful card to brighten up a miserably wet morning here in the NE, so I am going to use it to do some crafting, that is, after I've finished the ironing. Great background Sue. Love it! Hugs xx Pauline

    Hi Sue,
what a fabulous background. It does look very pretty in pink and old rose, but it would look equally good in gold and black, black and silver - the opportunities are just endless.
