Happy Easter

Hi guys!  I actually found this card late last year in one of my files, so I thought I would keep it and share it for Easter!  Then I realised that I will be in the middle of the April die release blog launch during Easter so today is the final day before the launch starts, so today it is!!  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Dahlia Garden embossing folder.  I used the Double Pierced Circles to create a multi layered frame out of Blue Dusk and white card and I attached it over the embossed background.  I added it to a piece of coconut white card and added pearl corners to it.  I used the Chrysanthemum as the sun cut in yellow,  I added grass and eggs and an Easter bunny to the inside of the frame and the sentiment above them.  I added a satin ribbon bow with a clear Dazzler to the side of the frame.  The card was completed with white and blue dusk mats and layers.

  4. Cute, and clever thinking, so typical of how you think lol what a brilliant idea for the sun, why can't I think like that, I always make this happy hobby more difficult than needs be, so to use one of the chrysanthemum dies to make the sun is genius. I've made no Easter cards this year as market falls next Sunday but I do have some of your collection on standby as they can always be worked in with your garden theme dies, show me a bunny that doesn't enjoy raiding a garden for pumpkins etc so not all is lost. I'm really looking forward to your new samples during the launch as it's going to be an exciting time for all so no nerves Sue, they are already loved and selling like hot cakes ☺
Wherever you are whatever your plans, hope it's a happy day xxx

  30. Good Morning Sue and all
What a stunning Easter card and love all the details you have created. The framing of the circles really draws the eye in to centre and the bunny and eggs are so cute and finished brilliantly with the idea of the chrysanthemum flower for sun. You can tell its a sue wilson card finished with the messy bow.
