You Are So Kind

Good Sunday morning all!  I know that after the flurry of multiple posts for the past week and a half, a single post may seem a bit dull!  I hope this card won't let you down, though, as the Stamp To Die For is so pretty!  I started with the Roxy die and cut the decorative die into the upper right corner, then the lower left corner in the opposite direction.  Yes, there was an over cut area, but not to worry, it was easily hidden.  I backed the piece with vellum to have a soft see through to it. Next, I stamped the Roxy's Forget Me Nots STDF in black and used Distress Markers to colour it in.  I used the outer die from the Roxy to cut it out and I mounted it in the middle of the card with foam.  I cut the sentiment from the Garden Delight Frame and glued it into the centre of the stamped image.  I added white pearls in the opposite corners as accents.   The card was completed with white on white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Another beautiful example of your STDF and colouring. Roxy is a great die and this card is fabulous. I really hope I can colour even half as well when my new stamps turn up in the post.
What a shame, 24 hours until the next post lol ! But really enjoyed the release,

  2. Hi Sue. What a fabulous week or so you've given us. So many gorgeous dies I thought I didn't want, until you showcased your stunning samples then the list multiplied then doubled and that's without the stamps to match ! So although it's going to take some getting use to only having one post it means less work scheduling 4 posts a day for you, but even one post per day is worth looking forward to that's for sure. Roxy, I will admit is not a favourite of mine but I know she has a place in 100's of homes, for me she over powers but saying that I've seen some spectacular cards made with her and the STDF. Whatever your plans, wherever you are hope your day is a good one xxx

    Good Sunday morning Sue.
A beautiful card to start the week and I do so love your colouring. I am not a stamper yet I have enough stamps and colouring pens and pencils to open a shop! I wish you could come and spend a week at my house to get me started in the right way.
I have thoroughly enjoyed your launch and have pinned many of your samples for future inspiration.
    Thank you so much.

Beautiful colouring and I look forward to being able to see flowers like these outside rather than frost and snow.

  67. Hello Sue,

How delightful to see a card using one of your STDF. Roxy's Forget Me Nots remind me of a lovely country walk in the Springtime with all of the wildflowers starting to bloom. I have loved every stamp released with this collection and it has been my mission to use every one. I have one left to do. You make your coloring seem so easy and your results are always so pleasing to the eye. My coloring is always a challenge that I'm not giving up. I love the vellum behind your die cuts, it really adds a gentleness to the card.

    Have a great day.
