Just Because

Hello crafters!  I thought it was about time to show off the Lesley die.  I started with a piece of aqua card and embossed it with the Tulip Twist embossing folder.  Next I cut two of the Eliza dies in white and backed them with vellum.  For the focal element, I cut the Lesley die in white and backed it in white.  I turned it in a diamond orientation and used the two Eliza dies beneath but on the sides.  I cut the centre of the Avery die in white and stacked it in the centre.  I used the Just Because shadowed sentiment cut in aqua with a white backing shadow and seated it stacked on top of each other in the middle of the card with foam.  White and aqua mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. Morning. Firstly, Aqua is my most favourite shade (I think) but I love all foundation cardstock. I really need to add folders to my gift list there are so many I'd love to own and more just released, I'm sure I was born to be poor and your gorgeous samples don't help making my mouth water for dies I've told myself I don't need lol. I love how you laid Eliza over Lesley the two are made for each other, such a pretty sample to keep looking at.

    Such a fresh and clean looking card today, aqua and white go so well together. Lesley has to be one of my favorite dies from this collection. I love all the swirls. Some of the waste bits from this die make great little additions to your floral elements.

    Hi Sue. Well as always a beautiful card !!! Aqua is one of my favourite shades of foundations card. I love how you have mixed and matched your dies together to create this gorgeous card. I love them all, especially ELISA which has been on my list for a while now. Lesley is a beautiful die set to. I think backing dies with Vellum gives such a dreamy, elegant look. The shadowed " Just because" word die really stands out. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card.
    I really loved yesterday's card Sue. I have the sewing accessories die set and I am going to make a sewing card for my mother-in-laws birthday.
