For You

Good Sunday morning all!  I have an unusual colour combo for today's offering, but I thought I would give it a try!  I started by embossing a piece of slate grey card using the Opulent Frame folder.  I used Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish lightly over the top of it.  Next, I cut the Eliza die in white and added an antique gold card backing.  I cut the centre die from the set in white and added a slate grey backing to it.  I used the For You shadowed sentiment in white with a grey offset shadow and backed it with the larger white shadow before adding it to the centre of the card. I used the Layered Carnation to make three dimensional flowers.  The edges were tinged with Enchanted Gold gilding polish to tie in with the card.  I embellished it with gold leaves.   White, grey and gold mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/2" in size.

Just a quick reminder, I am finishing up the ODS on Hochanda today with shows at 9am, 1pm and 5pm.   Hope you can join me!   All for now, Sue x

  4. Morning Sue. It maybe unusual but it really works well. That embossing folder is absolutely lush so much depth and detail, it really cries out for guilding polish and such like. I'm loving today's inspiration Sue. Off to market later so lots to organize and get done before it's time to leave. Will be catching up with today's shows later but yesterday's shows were lovely. Enjoy your day and your massive audience awaits you xxx

  8. Hello Sue,

The embossing from the 3D folder is impressive and colored with the gilding polish it looks like antique metal. The card itself is stunning.

Your shows on Saturday were fabulous. It's always exciting to see the samples that you create and the ones you had for your shows were fabulous. The mermaid cards were so magical and fun. Looking forward to your other shows.

    Have a wonderful Sunday.

  10. Hi Sue
A beautiful card, love the colours.
Fabulous mermaid show yesterday. I loved the bubbles background you made for the first demo. I must get some sparkle shakers, they look perfect for me (I’ve tried using glitterbitz but they go everywhere).
Like you I’ve made my own tool for picking up things, but mine is a cocktail stick (toothpick) with a small ball of blu-tak on the end.
Looking forward to catching up with all your shows.
