Best Wishes

Hi crafters!  Let's start out 2019 with a pretty card that would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary I think! I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the decorative die in the Roxy set to cut the design into the card in the upper corner.  I backed it with vellum for a soft look.  Next, I cut the Roxy die again, but this time I used the outer cutting die to cut it out of the card.  I cut a backing for it out of vellum and added it with foam in the lower corner.  I cut the Best Wishes sentiment out of custard card, then nipped it apart so I was able to fit it in two lines inside the Roxy die.  I made three flowers out of custard card using the Layered Carnation die set and added them with a satin ribbon bow and some Fern Fronds and leaves as accents.  I adorned the upper corner with three white pearls as embellishments.  Simple white on white mats were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    How beautiful, elegant and sophisticated this card is. And as you said perfect for a wedding or anniversary. White on white always makes a statement and the touches of yellow are a delight. The Roxy die reminds me of beautiful plumes flowing gracefully and effortlessly in the wind and backing it with vellum adds a beautiful softness. What a way to start the day.

    WOW. This is elegance at it best. Soft and delicate, it reminds me of stepping onto newly cleaned ice with my sharp blades. The graceful patterns as you glide and turn, the only one skating round with the gentle but cold mist rising as you create these wonderful delicate swirls.
