Basketweave Background

Hi bloggers!  Here we are shoing off the Basketweave background.  I just love this pattern (as you can probably tell as it has been woven in to so many of my designs!)  I love the way you can use it with so many designs and it just works so well.  I have added a bit of detail into the lines so it has a texture like wood grain to it.  It looks great cut in strips or used as is or even extended.  You can make it bolder with a different colour backing or keep it subtle by using it with vellum, it's a real asset to any crafters' arsenal.  If you like what you see, please leave a comment on this post.  We have one more post for today which will be online at 6pm.  Don't worry though, we aren't even halfway through the launch yet!  All for now.     Love the detail in this die. The fact it can be extended is also useful for larger cards or even using it on a scrapbook page.

    Hi Sue, a lovely card and I like the basketweave background die so much I chose it as my prize in a FB competition.     One of my favourites is the trellis die and this I could see as another. It has a similar feel to it, very pretty but not so overpowering that it would take away from a topper or sentiment that was placed above it. Love it.
