Silent Night

Hello crafters!  Another card that uses the Starburst, but this one is super bright!  I started by creating the background using a piece of acetate and adding Blue Aquamarine and Teal Tourmaline Crystal Tints and spreading them with my finger.  I sprinkled on some Silver and Midnight Marine Holographic Glitters on top.  Next I scrunched up a piece of white tissue paper and laid it over and tamped it down with a piece of kitchen roll.  I set it aside to dry overnight then cut it to size with a paper cutter.  Next I cut the Mosaic Bauble frame in both white and black.  I used the black as a shadow then cut away the two longer sides.  I added a strip of white card behind them, then added mounting foam and used the on the two sides of the acetate.  I cut the Starburst in white and added a black backing, then mounted it in the centre.  The Swirled Silent Night cut in black was added to the centre of the Starburst.  White and black mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x 8 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
