Thank You

Hi crafters!  Today's offering is a wisteria and iris card colour combo.  I started with a piece of wisteria card and used the border from the Treat Yourself Cupcakes to cut a design into each of the side edges.  I matted it with iris card.  Next I cut the Poppy die in Iris card and backed it with a white backing.  I cut one more of the Poppy dies in white and cut it in half and used the halves as corners coming from behind the original die cut.  I cut the Michelle die in wisteria card and added a white backing to it.  I mounted it with foam in the centre of the card.  The Thank You Mini Expression was cut in Iris card and glued to the centre of the die.  I cut three of the Passions Flowers in white and backed them with iris card.  I added small pearls to the centres and added them to opposite corners with a satin ribbon bow and leaves as accents.  The card was completely with white, wisteria and iris mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Good morning Sue. Another week and what a sample to start with. Two gorgeous shades of purple both always in stock in my card stash love them.     I love Iris and Wisteria - it is such a gorgeous colour way.
    Today’s card is delightful. I always love the way you ‘chop’ into your dies and create a different shape. It gives so many more options to your dies (which are already oozing versatility)!

    I love the way you can use all the borders and bits from other die sets, like the gorgeous border from the cup cakes today. The layering of the dies is so pretty and the Passion flowers look sweet with their masses pearl centres. They are still a favourite flower - specially with pixie powder backgrounds, your colours today are lovely though too.

    I have just deleted a comment because it was total gobbledygook - predictive text!
    I said how lovely the card is AND it would be very helpful for when we go shopping eg at Joanna Sheen to know which darker shades of Foundation card goes with its lighter version xx
