Best Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I have an almost white on white card for you today, just a touch of blush to it!  I started by cutting the Lexi die out of blush card and backing it with white.  Next I cut the Phoebe die five times out of white card.  On three of the five, I used the inner decorative die.  I cut all of them in half.  I layered the cut ends to the top and bottom of the card and used the more solid ones on the outside with the more decorative ones to the inside.  I added the last cut one to the sides of the Lexi die and mounted it in the centre with foam.  I cut the centre section from the Caroline die in white and backed it in blush card and added it to the middle of the card with foam.  I stamped my sentiment and added it to the centre, then cut several small flowers from the Chloe die out of blush card, added small pearls and scattered them around the sentiment.  White and blush layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  9 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  4. You have come up with yet another innovative idea that stretches the boundaries of what a die can do, and once again the result is beautiful.
    I loved yesterday’s card, too, and didn’t realize I had missed it until I saw it a few minutes ago. I was swept to dreamland before Particraft time.

    Best to all.

  5. Hi Sue. When today's beautiful sample loaded my first thought was how on earth do you do it ? I know you've been crafting - how do I put this for a little while 😉 plus designing your own dies, but when I see you've cut into card with a die to create a background is it knowledge that makes you know it's just going to work ? How I wish I had your knowledge Sue. I love white on white, there's just something special about it. If this doesn't make a lot of sense I'm tired but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say lol. Enjoy your day ☺ xxx

  22. Good Morning Sue. Still feeling low but not quite as bad. When I first opened up the blog on my tablet I thought Ohhh great a lovely lacy blue card. Then you told us it was almost all white. Honestly the appearance my tablet gave was pale blue........ I love it anyway and I love any thing lacy as I think I might have said before. Beautiful sample Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone.   49. Hello Sue and a;;
    When is a die not a die ? When Sue uses one of her dies and cuts and changes it to make something amazing like this card. I love how you can use your dies as backgrounds and mix and match them. Beautiful card in the almost white on white, that touch of blush really makes it stand out.

    Had some fun today with the New Zealand and Australian dies for a 40th birthday card, sometimes good to do a nostalgia card with some of out older sets,

    Hugs
