Aged To Perfection

Good Sunday morning all!  Today's offering is a bit of a distressed design.  I started with the background and used the Textures stamp set.  I stamped it with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide all over a piece of milk card.  I used the ink around the edge with a smoothie too to add to the distressed look.  I cut a smaller piece of black card for the backing for the focal element.  I cut the Vineyard Frame out of a piece of crackle paper I had (using the crackle glaze and the matt chalk paint with the chocolate gold metallic lustre paint.)  I used the chalk clouds over the crackle glaze to add a bit of colour to the frame.  The Sweet apple for the leaves and the sweet lavender for the  grapes and the cosy clay for the wine barrel.  I added the frame with mounting foam and cut the sentiment out of milk card. I completed the card with milk and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  3. Hello Sue and all

What a great way to show off this fabulous die set, love the crackle, colours and the sentiment,
We are back to day light saving here at last, so now waiting until 4pm for my daily fix, when your daylight saving stops at the end of the month it will be 5pm. Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t caught up, still I guess we need the rain,

  7. Morning Sue from a bitterly cold, dark and frosty Lancashire. This certainly is vintage and I feel equally vintage this morning lol but don't look as good ! I love the crackle, reminds me of the wrinkles in my vintage face 😢 overall a real Sue Wilson vintage this is how you do it sample and I like it very very much. I know the excitement is starting to bubble to the surface and you know I have to be very careful with my choice but I'm sure you know which will be my first purchase 😊
    Have a lovely day xxx

  11. Good Morning Sue. Brilliant card today Sue. And my mind says man card..... which is great for me.....but using pinks pale blue and lilac would be equally good for the female cards as well. I love the crackle background. Thankyou Sue. Only two more days to go now before we leave this beautiful country that I love so much. But I am ready for home now. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds
