Miss You

Good Sunday morning all! I have a simple card that uses the Flora die for you today.  I started by cutting a background using the Stitched Pegboard Frames, then I cut the Ivy Garden Background into the back, then kept it in the card so there was only the outline of the ivy in the corners.  If you put tape on the back of the card before removing the die it makes it easier to keep it in the actual cut area.  Next I cut the Flora die once out of blush card and once out of black card.  I offset the black one behind the blush card and mounted it in the centre of the card.  I cut the Miss You Mini Expression out of both black and blush card.  I shadowed it and seated it on a blush mat from the Sophia set and a black octagon from the Double Stitched Octagon set.  White, blush and black mats were used to complete the card.  The finished dimension s are 7 3/4" x  7 3/4" in size.

Don't forget that the rest of the Creative expressions team is still demonstrating today during the final day of the Weekend Takeover at Hochanda!   All for now, Sue x

  2. Hello Sue,

Such a pretty and delicate card today with a bit of a twist on the background. The blush card is my favorite, Creative Expressions needs to bring it back.

Congratulations on your shows and your sell outs, must make you feel good.

  3. Morning Sue, there's that gorgeous flora and ivy garden die again, I will never get tired of these dies, I'll never get tired of any of your dies (as my need list grows) but these are so dainty and pretty either used alone or as a duet the most beautiful mix and today's sample shows just that. So where's this storm gone that made the committee of the country park decide to cancel market !? Okay, so last month was wet cold and windy with few visitors and volunteers of the park chasing gazebo's that had decided to come loose, but if they'd have decided to check today's weather yesterday instead of Friday I wouldn't be losing sales from my regular market customers and adding a few more pounds to my craft account which is drastically needed as my cardstock is dwindling plus I really need the baby rattle lol. Oh well at least I can actually sit and enjoy the Takeover rather than wonder what I'm missing lol.
It's been fantastic watching the team, with so many brilliant tips so much help so much new 'stuff' and so much more to see today ☺ have a great day and hope you're now feeling %100 again xxx

Hopefully the recorder is storing all the takeover shows for me to view when I get some free time. I did a Sugarcraft workshop yesterday and my brother is visiting today so I can’t watch them live.

Managed to watch shows yesterday up until lunchtime when I had to go out and due to heavy rain here in the south, no signal was being received via satellite so my recordings failed. Still the same this morning so I will be watching on the internet today.

Good morning Sue and many congratulations on the takeover,I actually gave in to temptation on two occasions and only got as far as checkout which didn't work. My blood pressure must have soared. I ended up calling them which is difficult for me as I am so deaf. Anyway I was told they were having trouble with the website blah blah.
Back to today's card which is gorgeous and right up my street. I love the delicate nature of the finished card.
    Have fun.

  45. Hi Sue, a lovely gentle card and Flora is a favourite that I have yet to get but I agree with Debra that chocolate would be our preferred colour. Personal choice aside, it is a beautiful card.
I watched and enjoyed your shows on Friday and managed to catch up with Saturday's early programme last night. Hoping to watch the rest later on today. From the above comments it would seem that all went well and I hope you are happy with the well deserved success.

  49. A very pretty card today. I know some people are suggesting chocolate instead of black, but I like the combination of blush & black. The blush takes the starkness away, but having said that I think black & white is smart & classy! Thank you Sue, hope you are putting your feet up today! (But I doubt it!)
