Miss You

Hi crafters!  I have another Cityscape Circle  Scene to share with you today.  I started with a piece of navy Blue Pearl card ( I know it looks black, but it isn't).  I cut the largest city scene die out of black gloss card.  I cut some yellow card to fit behind it so it looked like the buildings are lite up at night.  I used the small circle die to cut a moon out of coconut white card.  I glued these to the centre of a piece of navy blue card.  Next I used the Double Pierced Noble Circles and cut three concentric frames out of white card.  I added mounting foam to them all in a stair stepped manner. then attached them over my city scene.  I cut the Miss You Mini Expression out of white card and added half to the upper left corner and the other part to the lower right corner.  White on white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  all for now, Sue x

This is a gorgeous card. I love the frame that you have created for the skyline scene, very clever indeed. it's like looking through a porthole of a large ship as it comes in to perhaps New York.

WOW what a fantastic card this morning . I do love the cityscape die and I love the depth on this card which looks like looking through a porthole on a ship sailing into New York. Thank you for sharing another way to use the die.

  16. Morning Sue, a really stunning card today. I do like the way you have made the frame. I tried to make a similar one to go with the stained glass sailing boat but it wasn't as successfully as yours. There's obviously a hidden secret which I'd love you to share. Hugs xx Pauline

  17. Oh wow Sue. Dark, powerful, very dramatic and almost tells a story, either the sounds of sirens raging through the main streets, or gazing out from an expensive hotel window starring at the moon making plans on how to spend your time in NYC (me, I'd be dragging 'my keeper' round looking for craft stores) lol. Now my bubble has burst I'll say it again - WOW ☺
Have a lovely day whatever your plans and dreams xxx

We are going on one of our dance festivals with 4 other couple's..... traveling to Northampton for four days. So if I am not around to comment please forgive me. Might have to use the mobile data for my internet.....as we are staying in our caravan in a field in the middle of nowhere. Great fun and loads of dancing. Sending best wishes to everyone. Good luck to everyone in the draw this afternoon. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

  55. Hi Sue, this card is most atmospheric and just like Heather and Wendy I felt that I was looking through a porthole as the liner I am travelling on is moving in to dock. I have never done this but I can dream can't I? The blue pearl card does show in some of the pictures and it is perfect for the backdrop to the scene.
