You Are The Best

Good Sunday morning!  I thought this would be the perfect card to share with Father's Day just around the corner!  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Linen embossing folder (I do apologise as I think it has since been discontinued).  Next I created a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles Set B, with the larger bottom area out of white card and a thinner frame of cobalt blue.  I cut  the Pressed Shirt out of some decorative striped paper from my stash.  I cut it again out of white card and trimmed away just the collar and added it on top of the other shirt.  I cut two pockets out of the decorative paper but with the stripes going horizontally.  The tie was cut out of chestnut brown card and I added a bit of shading with a light brown pencil and glued it in place.  I cut the accessories and added them around; the pen, pencil, cell phone and sunglasses.  I added two small buttons to the collar and three black pearls in the corner.  The sentiments were cut out of cobalt blue card and added to the top corner and the pocket.  I completed the card with white, blue and brown mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Oh no! I'm late already with my Father's Day card!

Your men's accessories are perfect, and I love the pocket stripes going the other way. For realism, it needs a big ink spot below the pen.

Welcome back, Sam, we missed you!

Hey, the launch starts this week, doesn't it?

    Woohoo!

Wishing everyone the best day possible. Find a little moment to enjoy.
