Overlay and Ornament

Hi bloggers!  This next die set is  classified within the Festive Frame category, but it is more than that actually.  The Overlay and Ornament die set has been designed to work with all the Festive Frame offerings in the launch as an overlay.  This set looks best when cut and stacked several times then added as either an overlay or used in pieces as an addition to the sides.  The ornament centre can be used with or without the overlay and is elegant on its own.  This was a real go to in my sample making, it really added a lovely detail to so many cards.  I am sure this one will be a real go to for you as well.  Leave your comment and pop back by at 3pm for the next release.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue, this is something a bit different and I like it a lot. The ornament with the deer is lovely and the overlay would be very useful at any time. Love the Snowfall Background used as you have done on this card and it is the perfect backdrop for the Ornament and Overlay.

    Although the centre ornament could only be used for Christmas it looks great within its frame but would be just as nice to use on its own. Wow the outer die I can think of so many ways to use that - as flourishes and corners, borders and edges. A beautiful and very versatile die set Sue

    This is one of the dies i fell in love with as soon as i saw it and it looks even better
    now i have seen your card. And i love the frame as like many of the dies it doesn't just have to be for christmas.
    I said i didn't need any more christmas dies but you have worked a way round that for me as i can now say that they can be used all year round making them extremely good value for money. lol

    Overlay. I'm struggling with how an overlay differs from a frame. My sleepy head wants to stay on the pillow past my wake-up time, so that's how I'm understanding overlay now.

    This set has a vintage feel.

    Back to overlay on my pillow until I'm late for work.

    I didn't knnow what to expect from this die set but now I know. And I love what I've seen so far.
    The frame itself has two different designs, giving us the possibility to cut and used them as corners, borders, etc.
    The ornament centre can be an ornament for our Christmas tree, or a tag for a gift bag.

    One dies set with 2 dies = endless possibilities.

    Beautiful! Could integrate this into a baubles for the middle piece and use acetate to turn it into a shaker card with the beautiful frame around it. Gorgeous card sue xx
