Christmas Angel 2018

Hello there my crafty friends!  It is finally time for the launch of the 2018 Festive die release.  I will not lie, this is my favourite release to design every year and I have eagerly been awaiting the countdown until I can share this year's collection with you!  As always, I am giving away one of each of the dies by doing a drawing of one name from the comments of each of the blog posts.  I will be posting the results of those drawings on June 29th for all to see.  The rules are simple, one comment per blog post please, but you may comment on each and every post to increase your chances of being picked.  Please, please make your name memorable in some way, use more than just your first name as the blog has many friends with the same name and I only have one set of dies to give away.  Add in the name of the city you are from or a funny alias or use your middle name and surname initial.  Any way you chose to distinguish your name from any one else leaving a comment on the blog.  Secondly, please check back to see if your name has been drawn as we have had dies that are not claimed in the past.  Now for the first offering, the 2018 Christmas Angel.  Every year I do a limited edition Christmas Angel, when we sell out she is not reordered the following year.  This year's angel has been designed with more than just Christmas in mind; nip off her wings and exchange the horn in her hand for flowers and you will have a beautiful die to use as a bride for a wedding or anniversary card .  I have tried hard to give you more than just Christmas use dies within the total Festive line.  Leave a comment to be entered into this drawing.  The next post is at 12 noon today.  All for now, Sue x

    Morning Sue. I'm looking forward to see the rest of your new collection over the next few days but as always finances means I'll have to be very picky which I choose that will go down well at market so the 'fun/cutie dies are what I'm waiting to see.
    Although she's a pretty Angel I'd like to give someone a better chance of being picked and not be entered into the draw for this particular die if you don't mind Sue. Beautiful colourful first sample.     Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, wow what a way to start the new collection with this wonderful Angel, I have all the previous Christmas sets of dies and this one has got to be a must have, everything about the Christmas Angels is inspiring but I do like the idea of snipping off the wings and trumpet, adding a bunch of flowers to convert into a wedding/anniversary type card, genius. That is what I like about your dies, there are always different ways of using them, so versatile.

    Lovely Angel. I think the best so far. My immediate thought was of a modern fairy before seeing your comment about trying to make the die more than just for Christmas. Seems your design has been effective in that! I like the surrounding design.

    Why did you have to go and do that? I have always been able to steel myself enough to resist the angel, but then you make her double as a bride. Twice the justification!

    Well I can't believe that another Christmas launch is upon us already. It only seems like moments since last year's Christmas launch. But oh how I do love Christmas.     Oh Sue, never has a die set been waited for more. Since I heard you talk about them earlier in the year I've been saving hard and keeping my purse tightly closed. Another couple of days and I'll be able to craft my Christmas cards.

    I am really liking this year's limited edition of you Christmas angel. Wonderful lines in your angel's wings and dress. Pleased you designed this angel so one can do a nip here and a nip there to transform this angel into something else. You think of everything for us crafters to get the most out of your dies. I'm greatful. I think I would like to do a stainglass look to her using glossy accents on acetate mixed with pixie powder for color. And also adding glitter to the glossy accents for her beautiful wings. WOW! I think I have just designed my Christmas cards for this year. That's a first for me to know this early in the year what Christmas card design I wish to make. Thanks Sue!

    What better way to start the Festive Collection Die than with the 2018 Christmas Angel. She is quite lovely and a must have for anyone who collects your dies. I like the ideas you have given us for clipping the wings, etc. to make her more versatile. She's a must have on my list.

    As you are excited to show off the Christmas launch, we are excited to see what's in store for 2018 Christmas cards (my favorite cards to make). The year's angel is always a hit. I truly think this one is my favorite. 2018 needs an angel and I will be using her a lot.
    Thank you for a stupendous launch.
    As I was traveling during the launch, I have had to fill in missed spots after I got home but I will not miss any of the dies.

    Your angel is very beautiful I love that you can use it as a bride too. the sneak peak at the stained glass window border is also stunning. I've worked backwards this time as I've had a lot to catch up on, and the collection is absolutely stunning and I really love the fact many designs can be used all year round.
