Build A Snowman


Good morning all and welcome to day number five of the Festive die blog launch.  We are starting out with this cute guy from our Build A Snowman die set.  I love snowmen, there are just so many fun ways to decorate them.  This set comes with a bunch of accessory dies such as a top hat, a woollen cap, scarf, signpost, shovel, broom, bow tie, buttons, and mittens to name just a few!  There are eighteen dies in all in this set!  The snowman himself has a cute stitched detail around him to add such nice interest.  I think this snowman appeals to young and old, I know I would love a card made with this set!  If this sort of whimsy appeals to you, just leave your comment on this post.  You might be a winner!  The next post will be along at noon today.  All for now, Sue x

    Such a cute card today and a really fun die set. Your snowman feels right here today, it is 11 deg (at 3 pm), very windy and wet as well, winter has definitely arrived. Great crafting weather though. Now I can't wait to get my hands on the new dies. Your border looks fabulous too Sue

    Happy Monday Sue. This is the little guy I was waiting to see, the cutie I mentioned yesterday. My window shopping is almost complete just the Finishing Touches to add but I'm looking forward to the rest of the launch and inspiration you give us. It's so heart warming to see each post reach the 100+ mark just a pitty it falls well below after the dies have been won !!!

    I love the thought of building a snowman too and Winter Wonderland is one of my favourite festive songs and the ideal place to be in Winter, love the fun aspect of the die and a way to get children involved with crafting too! x This is definitely on my wish list must haves list that keeps growing every day. Gorgeous card Sue yet again. x

    He's a cutie all right. Look at those twig arms, his little mittens, buttons, carrot nose, the cocoa mug and the bird for perching on the lamppost or the sign. You even gave him a broom and a shovel!

    Of the last two frames, plus the snowman and apparently the snowball frame that seems to be imminent, I like the Believe in the Magic frame, for the bits you can use separately, such as Santa and the reindeer, the clouds, the snow-covered evergreens and that skinny swirly tree, and that one flourish. We get a lot for one price.

    Somebody should do a count of all the birds in all your releases. I bet there's a lot.

    Hard to shake the idea that it's winter in my imagination, but it's supposed to get up to 100 on Monday.

    Hi Sue, I love Frosty and all the accessories - so many in one set! Great card too. When we were all confined to our homes by the heavy snow a few weeks ago I enjoyed watching the young family opposite building a proper snowman family on the verge - Mummy, Daddy and snow baby all had stick arms just like yours :-)

    What a lovely card Sue. Reminds me of my youth & dreaming of building a snowman at Christmas-time when it's summer. I am humming along to the Frosty the Snowman tune which coincidentally I use to do as a Song & Dance routine when I was a child.
