  2. Morning Sue. What a beautiful sight. The colour is just gorgeous, this must have made you smile when you finished it. I'll be watching the tutorial in a little while when I have my half hour of peace. I don't own any stained glass dies but each time I see a sample with this lovely die it makes me think that this may well join my very long list of those I need.
Another sunny bright day kicked off with a bright cheerful Sue Wilson sample. Have a lovely day xxx

As you said in the video, a quick and easy card but it does pack a punch. The pixie colors are beautiful and the glass beads give a special touch. Fabulous look when you've put it all together. Thanks for sharing.

    Wow - stunning x
This is such a beautiful example of just one of the things that can be done with your Stained Glass dies. I am gutted that there will be no more.
The tutorial is on my 'viewing with a cuppa and more than likely some chocolate list' ! Something to look forward to over the weekend, once Jake has left the building!
Apologies for not commenting yesterday - was under the weather. Yesterday's card was beautiful. I am in awe of your ability to colour with such intricacy using smoothies!
Izzy - poor Brian Mulrooney is in for a little teasing on his 18th Birthday don't you think - his lack of teeth sealed his fate, lol. His face reflected my feelings so perfectly x
Sun and blue skies seem to have been pushed aside in favour of rain which began about midnight with an almighty downpour and has not stopped since. This hiccup can be tolerated as it looks like the weekend is going to be a lovely warm bank holiday weekend x
Sending lots of love to all specially missing friends x

  19. I love how the beads give a mosaic look that transforms a stained glass window into a mosaic that can be imagined on the side of a pool or the wall of a spa.

I will dutifully try again to achieve anything but a mess with the Pixies. Maybe the spritz needs to be from the side. Was that an upward flick you gave it?

Oh, milk card! Thank you Pat L!

You guys have ANOTHER bank holiday? You lucky duckies! We have Memorial Day on Monday but I'll be working. The next weekend, which starts on Thursday for me, will be our stamp convention. Last year, I saw the familiar Creative Expressions logo, and it was a guy doing demos for gilding polish. Pretty sure some of my friends are going to buy a few this year. They LOVED playing with the new Phill Martin colors at one of our gatherings.

Sunshine and happiness to all, especially those needing a little extra cheer.

    Best,
    Donita

  26. Hi Sue,

Love the look of Pixies and micro beads together and with a simple diecut over the top and some bold framing it all makes a perfect picture for either a card - or some wall art, maybe a series of your Stained Glass designs grouped together would make a lovely focal point in any room...can't believe this is your last Stained Glass die - maybe you could reconsider and give us some more florals or some more festive designs...?

Donita - have you tried laying a pretty decorative diecut over the top of your "messy" Pixied sheets?...you might be surprised at how well they look - some of my most satisfying cards have been made with what I initially thought were just wishy-washy Pixie efforts but with a lovely open diecut over the top they came to life and sang!...and if that doesn't work then add some more powder and spritz again lightly...

  53. Hi Sue,
The whole Stained Glass Collection is amazing. I have some of them, not this one but it is on the list. You can create lovely cards using so many different techniques, including the one from today. I love the combination of pixie powders & micro beads. Thank you for the great video and for sharing this card with us all.

June is around the corner and of course your new Christmas Collection is ready. I’ve just had a quick peek at it … beautiful! I'm so looking forward to seeing your collection of cards, videos and tutorials with the new range of dies and stamps. We still have some time to save more money:)

  55. Hi Sue. I was wondering how you had managed to get sticky sheet onto both the frame and the background and now that I have watched the video I can see exactly how you did it! This is such a striking card but actually quite simple to make now that I can see how.

I have just had a quick look at your Christmas die release on pre-order and they all look gorgeous. Can't wait for the launch on your blog to see what you have done with them.
