Happy Easter

 Hi bloggers!  Just trying to squeeze in another Easter card before the day!  I started with a piece of blush card and cut the egg shape aperture opening for the treat cup to go through.  I prepared the egg treat cup with white micro beads and some clear micro beads (helps keep stuff from sticking too bad to the cups) ad sealed it with a piece of acetate.  I cut the bunny design from the Easter Bunny Egg die set in white ad added some pink shading then glued it behind the treat cup that I put through the aperture opening.  I backed it with a piece of aqua card.  I cut two of the surround pieces for the egg, one in white and one in aqua card.  I cut the scalloped area away on the aqua card then layered it on top of the white one and added it around the egg shape.  I cut an aqua bow for the top of the egg and glittered it.  I used the Chantilly Lace Edger in white across the bottom of the card, then cut an assortment of the small decorative eggs in white with different coloured backings and glued them across the top of the border.  The card was completed with white and blush mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 3/4" x  8 1/2" in size. 

I completely forgot to mention that I am doing the One day Special starting tonight at 6pm on Hochanda!  I have an 8pm show then Saturday's hours are 9am, 1pm and 5pm for the final show.  I do hope that you will be able to tune in!  All for now, Sue x

    Such a cute Easter card, I only make one for each of my two grandchildren so can’t really buy die sets for two cards but they are lovely.
    I hope everyone has a lovely Easter. The weather here has decided to show off for the last summery break before winter, I haven’t been game to go out and face all the tourists yet but they are certainly blessed with the weather.

    It's Good Friday but every day is a good day here with your beautiful works of inspiration and today's Easter card is both cute and beautiful. I just love these new dies and together with the pastel colours you've chosen makes a real treat for the smaller guys in our circle of friends and family ☺ got the planner all sorted ready to record while watching, more shows to add to the other 70% of Sue shows I've got lol.     You sure do a lot with a little touch of pink. (In the bunny's ears). Can this rabbit also be chocolate?

    Nodding off now but I did manage to place an advance order before everything sells out.

    As for this die set, let's just say I haven't yet put together the Easter basket from last year.

    Yesterday I tried to write "simply," but it came out Sheryl. Not somebody new, just predictive text showing off.

    This is a really adorable Easter card and when its a shaker card also, well its just over the top. I didn't get the Easter dies this year but may get them next year as my Easter stash is pretty limited. I used the SW rainbow die for most of my Easter cards. I have an Easter stamp that mentions a rainbow therefore it worked (in my mind at least).
    Everyone, have a lovely Spring weekend. We have a drizzle here but then that is a part of Spring.
