For You

Hi bloggers!  This is probably my favourite card showing the Summer Rose Frame die without any alterations to it.  I started by cutting the Diamond Squares background die in a piece of coconut white card, extending it slightly to create a rectangular shape.  I added a white backing card behind it and then glued pearls into each of the corners.  I cut the Summer Rose Frame twice, once in a dark green for the leaves and to use as my base and the second time out of a deep dusty rose colour for the flowers.  I cut the flowers away and glued them to the green version.  I glued the entire frame to a piece of coconut white card and added a thin pink mat.  The entire piece was added with foam to the centre of the background card.  I cut the larger of the two frames that come with the Summer Rose Frame die set out of a piece of coconut white card with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet attached to it.  Next I cut the two frames together several times to make a thin frame that I could stack several times to build up some dimension.  I peeled the sticky backing sheet off and added the frame to the edge.  I cut the sentiment die out of pink card that comes with the set and added it to the centre of the sticky area within the frame, then sprinkled Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz over the remaining adhesive areas.  I added the frame in the centre of the card with foam mounting pieces.  White on white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

See you have my mind crafting already and now I have to go work, shucks. Gorgeous card Sue and just love the debossing / embossing . Have a great day. hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  6. Happy Friday Sue. You have given us some gorgeous samples this week and so much inspiration and lovely ideas and today's sample is no exception. I love how this die embossed into the card to give the prettiest of corners. You have shown us that it takes just one die to give someone a very special card, thank you.
I see you got over the 100 hundred mark in Wednesday Sue, if only EVERY DAY was the same as it use to be.
Sending love and hugs your way xxx

Beautiful. The Summer Rose frame is gorgeous. As soon as I saw you playing with this on HOCHANDA I fell in love with it x
I was over the moon to receive the last One Day Special from the boys for Mothers Day. The packaging is still intact - may have to rectify this situation - housework can wait x
After my initial confusion (caused by the official HOCHANDA e mail), I now know that Julia will be playing with your dies (amongst other things) today. Any show with your dies in is compulsive viewing x
OK folks looks like a sunny day ahead. Perfect for the first line of washing in 2018 to make an appearance - fingers crossed x
Lots of love to all specially missing friends x

  25. Good Morning Sue. Lovely offering from you this morning Sue. I love roses and I know you haven't used it on today's card but the bed of roses is still my favourite embossing folder. I would have preferred the roses to be white being a Yorkshire girl lol. But yes most people consider red for this beautiful flower. We have yet another wet dark foggy miserable morning again here in Leeds. Please roll on Summer. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

Congratulations, June, on your 60th anniversary. If he gave you a beautiful ring, I can guess how it has lasted this long.

I bet the queen didn't make the card she sent.

I’ve looked online and on Pinterest...but not much out there...it’s so lovely, but I’m sure you would have much more imagination with it than I have....even if you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!
