Cheers Cocktail Card

Hi bloggers!  The Happy Hour Background die gives you both positive and negative cut outs.  It looks lovely as a background or used as borders or individual small die cuts.  Today's video will show you one way to use this versatile die set.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Hi Sue. Great card and can be used for many occasions. The only problem I have and have had from the day of launch is making out what the 'wastecoat' shapes are ? Sorry if that sounds a bit stupid but all I can see is the odd wastecoat I'm certain that when someone points it out to me my brain will see it too lol. Really looking forward to watching the tutorial once my keeper takes 4paws out for her first walk of the day.
Whatever your plans for the day hope it's a great day and I'm sure my love and hugs will find their way lol xxx

    1. Oh my goodness Sue. Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me I wonder ? It's like those brain tease books that you eventually see various shapes. I blink and look away, then see wastecoates, far cats or dress patterns lol blink and then see the cocktail glass shapes, what an amazing illusion lol xx

  2. Such a pretty pink for the tall drink.

If these were dog shapes instead of bar glasses, I could really go for this card.

    Best to all!

  7. Morning Sue.
Thank you a great card and video.
Just like Steph I could see the black on white, it took a while to see the other one.
I think this is a die set to see in real life, when we can see the stitching detail.
Take care and have fun kitty.

  14. Great card Sue and can be used for so many celebrations.

I too had problems seeing glasses on the top and bottom line - middle was fine. I think it is probably due to the white coming into the foreground on our screens. I don't have this die but when it was first released, I too thought it was a row of waistcoats.

  15. Hello Sue, great card can only imagine a bit of warm weather to go with it, perfect. The card does give an illusion to wine glasses or waistcoats, it depends if you adjust your eye a bit you can see both X

    Great card for any celebration!

Steph - don't look at the "waistcoat" pieces, concentrate on the shapes in between...it took me ages too before my brain worked it out...lol

Either seeing waistcoats or in my case "pairs" even know they are green Lol
I can now see the cocktail glasses on the shelfs. Nice card and make you
    want to be on holiday.

Ann- glad you ok, hope not too sore after your fall x
Marie- good idea to leave a wishlist out so you can then just
tick off when you get them. I will try that Lol

  49. Hi Sue,
I am afraid that when I look at the background I see dress pattern shapes and
it takes a bit of time to see the glasses.
The large glasses are lovely though especially the pretty pink one.
