Poppy

Hi crafters!  We are starting off day five with a lovely Frame and Tag die set called Poppy.  I did find I was continually reaching for this one so you will be see a lot of it in the coming weeks and months.  It is lovely and detailed but open enough to have a soft airy feel to it as well.  The floral element in the centre can be used with or without the rest of the die and there is a nice open space in it for a sentiment as well.  The sample shown here has it used as the background foreground and side accents so you can see the versatility.  Tell me what you think of it in your comments.  The next post is up at 12 noon.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi there Sue, another beautiful start to our day with the most delicate sample to highlight just how pretty and delicate this poppy frame is and pre-launch sneak peaks made it to my list of needs. Will have to catch up with the next post later as it's market Sunday - depending how I feel in an hour or so, either way I look forward to the rest of the days posts. We are certainly being spoilt today, what with more new dies and samples to look forward to plus Phill show casing your dies on HOCHANDA how can it not be a great day ?     Wow! Is this a first? Using the same die set as the background, focal element, floral element and side accents! Amazing! If that doesn't demonstrate Poppy's versatility, I don't know what will.

    The corners are so appealing, especially with a pearl. They bring to mind a fleur de lis, but they have their own style. I hope I was smart enough to preorder this one. Off to catch a Phill show on Rewind.

    Wow I love this one. It sounds as though there is lots of versatility if the frame and floral part can be used together or separately. Also I have never met anyone who didn't adore Poppies. One of my very favourite flowers (though i do have quite a few favourites).

    So glad you sampled this one, Poppy is an adorable frame, but even so, I just wouldn't have had the imagination or talent to use it to do all that!!

    Good Morning Sue and all.. WOW what a stunning card you have made from the flags and tags die Poppy. I can see for the back ground that you have cut the frame twice which is so effected and again for the edges. I can see this set being very useful.

    What a very pretty die for us this morning and the card is beautiful. Poppies are amongst my favourite flowers, they always look so delicate and fragile, yet they're really quite robust. I have a beautiful peach coloured one in the garden and also yellow little ones - love them!

    This die reminds me of the one with the rose. I love the rose one and I am sure I will love the Poppy one. I see you have nipped here and there on this die for the design on this card; as well as extending the pieces to make a larger card. This will be a great design for one of your videos.
