Hi crafters! Today's offering is a really easy card that can be done in any colour choice that suits your needs! The Pin wheel flowers also look really nice when done in the scrunched floral method.
The finished dimensions are 7" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
Beautiful card Sue. Stunning floral display too.
ReplyDeleteBack to work today so your post cheers me up on this cold dark morning.
Elaine, sorry Andrew is not too well, hopefully this new treatment will start soon.
Jackie, my friend suffers with fibromyalgia, she often feels too tired to get out of bed. Your daughter us so young, I hope she feels better soon. It is an awful illness.
Rosemary, you will have a suoer time with your daughter, such a special relationship.
Oh June, now you have scared me, hats and I don't go well together, eeks.
They haven't set any arrangements yet but if they want me to I will do the invitations.
Donita, dud the Cadburys chocolate lorry arrive. Take care of yourself.
Stay warm and well everyone, my thoughts are with poorly and missing friends. Hugs basket open too.
Hello Sue and all
ReplyDeleteGreat colours, hexagons and floral element. The border idea is good too, as usual the video makes it all so logical and easy to follow.
Spent the day putting Christmas away, reorganised the storage, it was close to 30 deg C so feeling a bit Christmas'd out at the moment. I love decorating for Christmas but also the fresh neat feel when it is all put away too.
Hugs
Muriel x
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, this is such a pretty card, I will watch the video later, looking forward to that.
ReplyDeletePam I reiterate all you have said, I know that I would be honoured if any of my family asked me to do wedding invitations, so if you do get asked I know yours will be magnificent. Watch this space.
There are expected very high winds up in the North and Scotland and Northern Ireland later today so batten down the hatches and stay in the warm.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteI think the hexagon shaped dies are one of your best "inventions", so useful and so versatile and such an eye-catching shape on a card even before we start to decorate it...I have some of them already, just need to collect the rest!..lol
Elaine, keeping fingers tightly crossed for Andrew, hope he starts his treatment again very soon...
Izzy
Good Morning Sue. Wowee love this card Sue and the colours. You know what. I have a set of hexagon..... no problem there..... only yesterday did I purchase the pinwheel flowers die..... can you believe that. I bought it out of the Christmas money gift from my line dancers. So I am on the way to recreating your card with maybe a little change here and there. The video is great ... you make things so easy for us Sue
ReplyDeletePam if you are asked to do the invites you will be so proud. I did two wedding orders in 2017 one was for 28th Dec. And the other was 31st Dec. So both events were just recent. Ohhh how proud I was when the customers came to collect them. They were over the moon with them and this made my day that they were so happy. So I think I know how you would feel. Best Wishes to all.
Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds
.....Ding Dong!...doorbell just rang...big, heavy box...must be my new Platinum inside, haven't opened it yet...but I know exactly what I'll be doing today!!!

Truly stunning card. The hexagon dies were to a Christmas present from my husband but they were out of stock so I still have another week to wait for them. I’ll then play to my hearts content!
ReplyDeleteDoreen R
I am excited about this morning's card. I have all the dies and a video to show me how. thank you, Sue.
ReplyDeleteI woke up to 13 degree temp here in SC. Very cold and has been for several days so of course the blower motor on our furnace went out Saturday night. We have space heaters on all over so OK for now. My furnace man is supposed to get the part today I hope (if it is in stock) so maybe we will have real heat later. My little dog and I are bundled up and keeping warm for now but I can't really get into my card making as that part of the house is shut off and too chilly to be comfortable. I have electricity, thankfully. I really feel for the homeless in this weather. I hope everyone gets to a shelter. This is very cold weather for SC but at least no snow. Sorry to complain as I think everyone is getting this Arctic Blast now.
Pam, I bet you will be making invitations soon. Lots of fun and congrats to your daughter. Elaine, I am thinking about you and Andrew. The best wishes for all to be better. Donita, Pam has already sent the Cadbury truck...good medicine.
Izzy, you go have a play for me too. I have new SW dies that I am itching to try and more coming today. Santa Baby was good!
Love to all,

Hi Sue and everyone
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card today, so pretty. Looking forward to watching the video soon.
A belated Happy New Year to Sue and everyone. Sorry it’s late, just been unwell. Started my cold/ cough in November and I’m still feeling terrible. Can’t believe how hard it is to shift. Hubby still ill too. Thank you for all the get well comments, thank goodness for them or I’d be even worse!! Hubby was touched when I told him we’d both been sent get well messages on the blog.
Just looked through previous posts, though still, not caught up on all comments, the orphan cards were nice, my favourite was no 4. Don’t think it should have been in there really. As for Sues favourites of the year. I loved the first one and the humming bird one, I liked all of them except the grungy style two but that’s just because I’m not keen on grunge.
Thank you Sue for another year of great cards and for hosting such a kind, caring and informative blog and for all the great samples and videos and tips. Not to mention designing such brilliant Dies!
Pam, congratulations to your daughter. I’m sure you’ll find a nice hat or maybe go for a fascinator. X
Elaine, so sorry Andrew is not great, sending positive hugs so he can start his treatment tomorrow. X
Donita, sending hugs to you too. X
Sorry for long post x

Hello Sue.

Dear Sue and Crafty Companions,
ReplyDeleteThe whole time I watched your video I kept thinking, I could do that. And it's stunning!
Congratulations Pam on the engagement of Kelly and Brian, and thanks for the Cadbury lorry!
Elaine, sending you love and peace. Healing to Andrew's well-behaved cells.
Thank you everyone for caring so much and so well for anyone who's hurting.
I have a day of furious packing, cleaning and die cutting ahead. Has anyone ever brought a Cuttlebug on an airplane? I might try to take it in a checked bag. Hope they don't confiscate it as a bomb. Who ever heard of a bomb with a crank handle?
Speaking of which, congratulations on your new Grand Caliber handle, Maria, and on your new Platinum mangle, Izzy. (Thanks for the explanation.)
much love,
Donita
