  6. Hi Sue. What a lovely summery sunshine colour to wake up to its pretty enough to thaw out this freezing wintery morning. I have this dear little Striplet but yet again it's not come out the packaging ! After spending weeks away from my craft space I'm finding it so hard to find the get up and go and get cracking again even with the thought of market creeping up on me fast, so many new dies after birthday and Christmas to play with but no enthusiasm to play (dynamite to spare anyone) ?
On that note Sue I'll send my congratulations to our card winner and send my usual love and hugs your way hoping your day is warmer than here xxx

  21. Hi Sue

I am loving all these lovely bright cards you are giving us. I hate the January and February's dismal days and today is no exception; it's pouring down and is set in for the weekend so today's card has really cheered me up, enough to send me to my craft room to make some cards for imminent birthdays :)

The card is beautiful Sue, thank you. Congratulations to Sheila on winning.

  29. Good Morning Sue. Beautiful card this morning Sue and a wonderful explanatory video. I wonder...... is yellow the in colour at the moment.....I have been working on a yellow themed wedding card this week. Is it the New in colour...? Just an update after Lisa Hortons tips on the p.powders..... now that I have the right materials I think I am doing much better and I feel more confident to
Use my pieces on my work. I have some of the industrial chic dies and and I have cut some of these dies with what I produced with the pixies. I am happy with them . Not made the card yet .... but I know they are ready. Congratulations to the Wednesday card winner. Keep warm everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

What an interesting technique! And what a fabulous effect! Thanks for the sunshine!

    Congratulations to Sheila Barns!

Welsh Dors, you are so right; sunflowers make us smile.

So sorry Jeannie Donnelly on the loss of your Dad. I hope you'll give yourself time to just be.

Well, Stephanie, I did get the birthday cards made. About 48. She said her great-grands range from one still in the oven to about 20 years old, and more boys than girls. I'll have to play with my positioner at home.

Thankfully, the plane leaves at a decent hour so I don't have to get up at oh dark stupid, as my sister says. But I stayed up until about then finishing the birthday cards, cleaning up and making sure everything fit in my luggage. It was a good vacation.

    Love,
    Donita

  63. Yummy card today. I love the "caught in crystal" technique and this blotted variation looks fantastic. I actually have all the dies too so may give this a go with the reinkers I have around. I have had so many projects to get done lately, I have not had time to just play on my own.I did get to work Pixies into yesterday's cards. Love, love!
Lots of you are having trouble getting your mojo on. I think its the after holiday "ho hums" plus the awful winter weather everywhere it seems. I have my stamp club that I always need to do cards for so that does keep me inking however sometimes I'd rather be making other things.
Donita, you really did make all those cards and on your vacation yet. I am impressed. Have a good flight back home.
Jess, you need to share your miracle working hair dresser!
Sheila, congratulations! You are the envy of the blog.
