Good Morning Sue. A beautiful card for a truly miraculous event. A new baby how lovely. I wish my two boys were still children I so enjoyed bringing them up. They have families of their own now. It was back to at normal at line dance yesterday after the Christmas break. I don't know where they all came from..... Hi Sue A lovely adorable card ,loving the borders and the Teddy.
Thank you all for the hugs and good wishes , A lovely lady saw Andrew yesterday and explained about the Chemo ,she said "If you were my patient i would ask you to consider ,,,,,, this Form of Chemo it is just as good as the other one you were on also this one will work for all your problems and save you having 3 or four cocktails for each individual area that needs treatment" . She also explained that over the passed 3-4 months Andrew has missed a 6 Chemo as he was not well enough and that is because his body had got used to the cocktails . Is he being fobbed off ? i dont know . but Andrew says you have got to put your trust in the doctors/ Consultants . He found out yesterday that his lady Consultant is back off holiday so he wont have anything more to do with the Gent who was seeing him this last 3 months ........ Andrew is having the Tummy drained this Morning , { should have been yesterday but they ran out of time }
Pam you and all should not sit working in the cold it will make you all ill , they really need to get there act together and get it up and working . I will echo you again today ,thanks for keeping me up to date. xxxxx
Have a lovely day everyone . Big huggles to all . Elaine H X
What a delightful card for any new parents or grandparents to receive. And the cute itty bitty teddy bear is the icing on the cake. I love the border technique, I'll have to see if any of my older dies would give a similar effect.
Pam, I bet the House of Commons and the Westminster Offices have their heating turned up, It wouldn't do for the precious MP's to be cold would it?
I feel for the supermarket till operators who work near the doors, the cold draughts they sit in is not so nice as well.
Hi sue I have this set will be great to watch you work your magic have a soft spot for teddies his little arm over the side of the prom Thank you sue Love always. June Horrocks xxxxxx
Morning Sue, love this card, so cute, thank you for sharing. Pam why don’t you take a small fan heater into your office and keep it under your desk, I’m sure the heating would get sorted quicker if everyone did that. Take care everyone, Jess xx
Hello Sue and all Can’t wait to watch the video, such a cute card, no new bubs expected in the family at the moment, shame lol !!! Thank you again Pam Hugs Muriel x
Hi Sue What a cute card today, the teddy is a favourite of mine, he looks quite comfy in the pram! Love the big Sue boss too with the dazzler, we don't see enough of them these days. Thank you for sharing. Love Diane G xxx Pam echoing your comments today, I hope your teeth chattering doesn't disturb the peace of the office, it's getting ridiculous isn't it, I hope the union are keeping an eye on things for you. Xxx Elaine sending hugs to you all xxx
Hello Sue This is gorgeous I have just watched the video and I loved how you used the border die. Pam I hope the heating is fixed soon I don't suppose you can take in your own heaters because they have to be pap tested first. Elaine hopefully now his own consultant is coming back from holidays things will move quickly(3 months seems to long time) and at least they are talking about chemo which will give him a fighting chance.Huggles to all who need them.
Hi Sue and everyone Sue such a pretty card. Love the teddy popping up out of the pram. Love and huggles. Pam you must be freezing, you shouldn't have to work in the cold. Hope things get sorted quickly. Love and huggles. Elaine hope all goes well today for Andrew and that he can have treatment soon, love and huggles to you all. Cheryl thank you for thinking of us poor cashier's at the checkouts, I was one of them a few years ago. Love and huggles. Donita, Crewe Trish, Laine ,Theresa G sending love and huggles to you all. Well had some good news yesterday. My daughter discovered that as we have premium seats, we can " meet and greet " Geovani from strictly ssssooooo excited. Next week we go to Birmingham to see the Strictly tour can't wait. We have discovered that flashing lights don't affect my epilepsy which is marvellous. Sending love and huggles to you all xxxxxx
Good afternoon Sue and everyone Aww Sue what a very cute card you have given us oday it would be a keepsake hat is for sure The video was wonderful too You made me laugh as you moved in between calling it a Pram and a Stroler Loved it Pam thanks for he thumbs up on my echoing you star Elaine Andrew is right you have to put your faith in the doctors I hope he has now got some relief from having the fluid removed You all remain in my thoughts and prayers hugs I send my usual good wishes and hugs to everyone Take care folks Theresa G x
Sweet, precious and adorable. Love how you pay special attention to the "little" details when you design and put together your die sets. You are my kind of die and card designer!
Will watch the video later as I’m on my way to physio soon.
Pam, you think they would provide their own electric heaters for you all, which they have PAT tested themselves. It’s really not fair to expect you to work in those conditions.
Elaine, it’s a difficult situation. I suppose you do have to have faith in the doctors. Sometimes different drugs can be overlooked but are really effective. Perhaps you could arrange to speak with the doctor and ask her to explain more so you feel reassured this is the best action. Is there a Patient advice and Liaison Service at your hospital. They are there to help relatives too and could arrange an appointment with the doctor for you. If there is no PALS service then you could ask the Ward Sister to arrange this for you instead. I’m sorry if I’ve overstepped the mark, or if you already knew about this, but often people don’t. Please don’t be offended, I am just trying to help. I hope Andrew feels a bit better after having the fluid drained. Thinking of you and sending hugs.x
Hi Sue An adorable baby card, love the pram and the teddy, thank you for the great video too. Elaine daily hugs for you and Andrew, just have to trust the doctors are doing their very best for him Pam echoing you as you say it all so well
A very cute card this AM. The pram and Teddy are precious. Pam, try to stay warm. We are supposed to be up in the 60's on Friday after freezing for 2 weeks....crazy winter. I do not like the cold. Elaine, hope Andrew is feeling better. Hugs to everybody, Stephanie K SC/USA
Hi Sue Oh wow what a sweet cute card it's so adorable! Elaine I hope Andrew will feel more comfortable after today's procedure Hopefully he can have a good chat with his consultant on her return & go ahead with the most suitable treatment Sending you all big hugs Rosemarkie how exciting to meet Geovani hope you have a wonderful time Pam still no heating at work that's dreadful at least they could have provided you with temporary fan heaters or something Sending good wishes to all

Hi Sue, this card is absolutely adorable. Your attention to even the smallest detail is amazing and I think it would look equally good in other pastel shades. I love the way you have used the Gemini die to create the borders.
Elaine - I hope Andrew's procedure today was not too painful and he is now feeling more comfortable. We have to trust the doctors to do their best for us. Helen is right about PALS and sometimes it helps to talk to knowledgeable people that are not directly connected with the patient.
Hi Sue, Such an adorable card for us today. That teddy bear is such a sweetie. Pam, it's not right that you're having to work in such poor conditions. One year in my first teaching job, we were having similar problems, and in the end the council had to bring in calor gas heaters. Maybe your bosses could arrange for something similar xx Elaine, hope Andrew is feeling more comfortable today. I think you do have to trust the doctors and that they know what is best. Xx Hope everyone is ok, love and hugs Alison xxx
Really cute card that can be changed to pink and send it to a baby girl. Adorable. Love it.
Pam - As Jess W. suggested , you should have a small fan heater into your office and keep it under your desk or you are not allowed? I have a heat cushion for chair that I use it almost every day in the morning. Elaine - To trust or not to trust the doctors? Not always, I will say. If you are in doubt you should always ask for a second opinion. I just spoke with one coworker who's daughter, 21 years old, lost a university year and was in pain for months because the first doctor put a wrong diagnosis. After months of medication and no improvement they went for a second opinion and finally the girl received the right treatment. She is a in a better shape now, physically and mentally. I really hope whatever Andrew's doctors will decide to be the right decision and help him. You all are in prayers.
Warm hugs from cold Toronto to you all, Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only across the pond Wilsonette Carmen-Dorothy
Cunnin', as they used to say in Rhode Island. Maybe you said it in the video, but all you'd have to change is the ribbon color for a girl. Wow, Kitty, you've attained a greatness few can reach, great-great grandmother. And you look so young in your profile photo. Peaches and cream complexion, or is that chocolate chip cookie dough complexion? Goodness, Pam, at least they should give you hazard pay, for working in Antarctica. Admiring Andrew's positive outlook and faith in his physician. Glad she's back. Warm wishes to all.

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous card, what a lovely pram die & great video,
Hope things improve for Pam,
Best wishes

This is so cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, this card is absolutely adorable. Your attention to even the smallest detail is amazing and I think it would look equally good in other pastel shades. I love the way you have used the Gemini die to create the borders.
ReplyDeleteElaine - I hope Andrew's procedure today was not too painful and he is now feeling more comfortable. We have to trust the doctors to do their best for us. Helen is right about PALS and sometimes it helps to talk to knowledgeable people that are not directly connected with the patient.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card for a new baby! Been missing on
and off for the last few days; this Australian Flu
is horrible, my sympathies is you get it!!

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable card for us today. That teddy bear is such a sweetie.
Pam, it's not right that you're having to work in such poor conditions. One year in my first teaching job, we were having similar problems, and in the end the council had to bring in calor gas heaters. Maybe your bosses could arrange for something similar xx
Elaine, hope Andrew is feeling more comfortable today. I think you do have to trust the doctors and that they know what is best. Xx
Hope everyone is ok, love and hugs Alison xxx
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteReally cute card that can be changed to pink and send it to a baby girl. Adorable.
Warm hugs from cold Toronto to you all,
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only across the pond Wilsonette

Sue, that has to be the cutest baby card I have ever seen! Fabulous!! Jo xx
ReplyDeleteDear Sue and Wilsonettes,
ReplyDeleteCunnin', as they used to say in Rhode Island.
Love,
Donita
