Typewriter Grid Alphabet

Welcome back crafters!  This post is dedicated to the Typewriter Grid Alphabet die set.  This set is unique in that it cuts out each letter as a debossed circle, but it also gives you the circle grid to fit them back into as well.  The lovely old fashioned typewriter look to it was  designed to work well with the Industrial Chic collection as well as holding it's own with any number of other die sets.  Shown here, I have used it as a background instead of an alphabet so you can see the versatility to it.  I would love to see your comments as well as allowing you a chance to win this wonderfully useful die set!  The last post of the day is at 3pm today.  All for now, Sue x

  6. Hi again Sue, another great card. The typewriter grid die is so very different and fits so well with your Industrial/Steam Punk range. I remember in the 60's learning to touch type on old heavy black machines which had those round keys.

  17. Good Afternoon Sue. Omg memories... memories. Reminds me of my first typewriter..... somewhere in my head tells me it is still sitting hidden in the back of our outside shed. It will be rusty as hell I know.....but maybe you could send some of that magic of yours to clean it up. Good luck with your new launch Sue. Someone is going to be very lucky. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

  37. Fabulous card and die set. I too learned to type on an upright Remington so this brings back memories. The first time I used an electric typewriter I ended up with two lines of one letter but it didn’t take long to sort out how much pressure to apply and it was definitely easier than the manual.

  84. Hi Sue and everyone

Love this. I saved up my pocket money to buy my first typewriter from Boots, my sister got some discount on it for me as she worked there. A few years later when I started work, I won a competition and vouchers for Argos, so I bought an electric one with two colours!! Did I think it was brill? In fact I have recently seen it when hubby emptied the lift. Still can’t bear to part with it, although I hate how ‘typed’ words look now compared to computer print. Sorry.....I’ve reminised too much.
This die will be a winner with many as it will be so useful.
