Spiral Flower

Hello bloggers!  Next on the agenda is the Spiral Flower die set.  Originally I designed this set to work with the Industrial Chic Collection as I wanted something to make it more feminine and work with what I call pretty grunge!  You may have noticed it on some of the samples shown on the first few days of the launch.  While I think it looks fab like that, I also wanted to show just how pretty it looks when used on other styles of cards.  I just love the versatility of it!  Leave a comment if you like it too!  I will be back at noon with the next release.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Love the card and dies. The spiral flowers are gorgeous, I love all of your flower dies.
This launch has been fantastic, a great mixturre of styles to suit all tastes, something for all types of cards and a great crossover to match the dies we already have. A winning combination in my eyes.
Crewe Trish, we too had fireworks going off again last night, just bang bang bang. I used to love the fireworks as a child, so colourful and fun, the worst we had was the Jumping crackers, where us the fun these days.
Maureen, have missed you. Glad the decorating is finished. Give my love to the girls when they visit. I wasn't well yesterday, bit of a flare up but seems better today, on waiting list for op.
Hope everyone is well, it's cold again this morning but thankfully no frost on car.
Hugs to all, especially poorly and missing friends.

  9. Hi Sue. These are so unusual but extremely pretty as is your sample. Will be catching up later as it's time to say goodbye to this peaceful 1800 old school house and return to the noisy side of life, hoping the morons have finished the last of their fireworks !! An expensive way to have a stress free dog but worth every pound/dollar although she smells more like a sheep than a dog lol phew pongy paws. How beautiful is the countryside and all that goes with it, which is why I'm looking forward to what is to come before end of launch.
Whatever your plans today Sue hope it's enjoyable.

The spiral flowers are the perfect finishing touches for so many types of cards. I don’t like grunge, but I would use them on feminine cards. There’s that Sue Wilson versatility again.

Nice card too, lovely leaves and the swirl is gorgeous.

Pam, I hope you feel better soon.

Stephanie, Catherine wheels are fireworks. They are circular like a pinwheel. A pin is mounted through its centre so that it can turn and spin when it is lit. Then it rotates quickly producing a display of sparks whizzing around. The firework is named after Saint Catherine who was sentenced to death by breaking in the wheel. Nice eh?

Fabulous Flower die set. Just when I think I have enough flower dies you come up with something magical. Resistance is futile, these are a "must have".

Pam, were those jumping crackers called jumping jacks? They whizzed off along the ground in one direction, stopped for a second, then off in another direction, over and over. You couldn't tell which direction they'd go next.
    Take care everyone.
