Industrial Chic Frame & Tag

Welcome back bloggers!  The final post today is for the Industrial Chic Frame & Tag die set.  This set is definitely a go to set for your steampunk projects and cards.  It looks great in either direction, landscape or portrait so it is incredibly versatile.  You can cut the centre out to create a frame or leave it in and use it for your sentiment as I have done in the sample shown.  The smaller tag works well for stamped sentiments too.  If this set is right up your alley, just add your comment to this post and you will have a chance to win it.  Day three starts here tomorrow morning at 6am!  All for now, Sue x

  34. Sue, Sue, Sue - what on earth are you doing to me. One of my biggest insect nightmares are bloomin dragonflies !!! Back in the 80's when I had natural blond hair and let me tell you that Farrah Fawcett had nothing on my golden locks but that wasn't so good when a huge great fluttering dragonfly got itself tangled in it just before a great wave started approaching me at Wet and Wild water park, talk about terrified, flapping my arms taking a swipe at my head only making it worse lol then once released blow me if it didn't come back for more !!! Since then they scare the wotsit out of me, so what do I see - dragonflies only designed by my hero !! Are you having a mid life crisis with all this grunge oozing from every pore lol to think it all started with shabby chic card edges now look where you've got to, cogs, wheels and insects with safety pins as wings, I think I need a lie down in a dark room till I get the Sue Wilson I remember back lol or maybe this isn't our real Sue, she's in a box somewhere surrounded by 6mm pearls and American seam binding ☺
So after re-living my memory of big lovely blond 80's hair and the dragonfly getting up close and personal I'm signing off till 6am when I hope you've come to your senses 😉
Sending big hugs over the hill with celebration birthday balloons tied with seam binding with added stick pins 🎈🎈🎈🎀

  65. Hi Sue,

Well, it's the end of day 2 and another day of really interesting dies and cards. I know so many have been inspired and are in seventh heaven with this Collection. Try as I may, it is just not hitting that spark that your dies always have. Maybe I need a little less grunge and a little more pixie powder. I have to agree with some of the comments by dear Steph. I think she and I are in the same boat paddling aimlessly in the middle of the pond trying to get to shore.

    See you in the morning.

  89. Hello Sue,
Brilliant die again, oh decisions, decisions!
Pat L, I'm not actually painting as son in law and husband have their hot little hands on the paint brushes - for which I am truly thankful. Ceilings done, first lot on walls but imperfections have been filled and will be sanded down and second coat of paint on tomorrow (I hope). Still lots of work to do, but I'm going out to meet my sister in law!
Dorothy - Carmen, it's great to know that you are as mad as us ha ha.
Donita, The Gunpowder Plot took place in 1605 - we have long memories ha ha. Myra forgot to tell you that as a child in the far distant past we used to make a "Guy" (a sort of scarecrow figure) and ask people for a "penny for the Guy". We used to buy fireworks with the money we made. There were big bonfires and we'd go around asking households for old wood to burn, build our bonfire over the course of a week or so, stick a "Guy" on the top and set it alight on the 5th November. Unfortunately, health and safety reared their ugly head and now "Bonfire Night" is usually regulated and quite sterile!!! I suppose it does stop a lot of people having awful accidents with the fireworks.
    See you all tomorrow.
    Maureen (fried Myra's fiend) xxxx

  97. Hello Sue,
Another amazing die set to finish off the day, I love this card, I think it's my favourite so far, the background is just incredible. Can't wait to see what you come up with tomorrow. My conversion to grungy chic yesterday started at the tip of my toes, it's steadily progressing and it's up to my knees now Sue!

Donita Maureen is right, we have long memories, we still haven't forgiven William the conqueror for shooting out Harold in his eye in 1066.
Dorothy!! I'm honoured you've invited me to be one of the chosen few allowed to give you a new name! And yes you are right, Lorraine is crazy, shhh don't tell her though. I'm busy following her tonight so want to post quickly and beat her in with this post.

  99. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I do believe that this is my favourite die thus far, my decision is based in part with your glorious card highlighting its beauty.....Sam is so right, your backgrounds have been tremendous and I eagerly look forward to seeing in greater detail just how you achieved them.
This launch has been an absolute triumph thus far and i wait with bated breath for tomorrows instalment:-)
My comments may be short and sweet today but i simply couldn’t let the day pass by without responding to Carmen and her unnecessary cruelty.....what have i done to deserve your cold dismissal? I am hurt that you wont let me call you Dorothy, no, more than that, i am mortally wounded ....whereas people without my royal credentials are given preferential treatment i am treated most shabbily! I would have gladly wished you a belated happy birthday but instead i find myself hoping that your BIG birthday brings with it much sagging, static facial lines and incontinence that even TENA Lady cannot cope with:-)
Saba, I have teeny weeny feet, a UK size 3....though i have to wear insoles to stop my feet from sliding out as I walk:-).....I would quite happily let you share them with me just as long as you don’t stretch them out of shape or scuff them:-) We shopaholics must show some solidarity!
Myra, i only have about ten pairs of boots, i much prefer shoes because my legs are quite skinny and the boots gape at the top:-( Since you are also my friend i would happily let you borrow any of my collection however many are high heels.....because i’m Just a little over 5ft tall....and if you suffer from vertigo or corns they may not be appropriate:-)
Yvonne, since you have feet like a farmer and the hands to match i wont offer you some shoes, maybe just some hand cream and foot deodoriser :-)
Cuddles to all, especially my blog bestiesxxxx
