3D Cosmopolitan Cocktail

Good morning all!  Welcome to day number six of the autumn die release blog launch.  We are showcasing the 3D Cosmopolitan Cocktail die set this post.  This set has been designed so you can add an acetate front to the glass that allows you to make the glass 3D.  It looks fab with a "sugar" rim or with a plastic cocktail mermaid charm perched off the edge!  With this set, you can adorn the glass with a straw, a lemon twist, olive or strawberry to dress it up.  It's the perfect die set to make some fun cards for a girls night out or even a ladies hen do (bachelorette party for my American friends)!  I'm sure you can have some great fun coming up with ideas to use this set for.  So what do you think of this one?  Leave me a comment and let me know and you will also be entered into the drawing to win it.  The next post is at 12 noon today.  All for now, Sue x

  1. What a start to our new day. Love the card and die set. The cocktail glass is fab,Cheers Sue, make mine a Pina Colada pkease.
Donita loved your little quote, light hearted and funny.
Lots of fireworks going off till late in night but I didn't see any colour bursts in the sky, just loud bangs and explosions. Aren't colourful fireworks fashionable anymore, they don't make loud noises. Let's see what tonight brings. Talk about burning money I could buy all Sues dies with that. I was reading that the war vets diagnosed with PTSD are suffering very badly at this time of year too, so very very sad, it takes them back to the gunfire and bombs.
Laine, the sister said my nail polish would have to come off but the doctor said no just one nail. They never had a oroblem when I was in hospital but I suppose you have to be more careful in theatre.
Yvonne, hope you enjoyed your part y with your boys.
Hugs to all, my basket is full again, Thinking of poorly and missing friends.

  4. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a really stunning card today with this die set, and a great ides of providing the die to cut the acetate out so that it wraps around the glass, you really do think of everything which goes to show what a professional you are.

Pam I reiterate all that you have said above, loads of fireworks here last night, I do love to see a display but the cost of them really is outrageous. I too think of the people who suffer when they hear them, my Mum hated bonfire night all her life, because she said it reminded her of the war. Mind you when I was a child we only had the fireworks actually on 5th November not weeks before and afterwards.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  11. Dear Sue and Blog Family,

Cheers! Finally, a set I can pass up. Well, isn’t it a relief to have a little island where you can rest without having to buy everything in sight? We have a sitcom on TV called Mom. It’s about a woman and her daughter living the AA life. On one promo the mother says: “I’m allergic to alcohol. Every time I drink, I break out in handcuffs.” My poison is brownies. If I overindulge, this happens: First I’m elated! I love everyone! Everything is fantastic! I start to wish all my dietary needs could be delivered by brownie. Within hours, if I’m at work, I’m screaming and crying! And for the next few days I have a ravenous appetite and a short temper and everyone is insufferable. And those are just regular brownies.
I do like stemware, for fruit juices and pudding. For a second I perked up when I thought the set included a little sword.
Is the cherry made with the olive die? And the little umbrella, is that from one of the beach sets?
It seems like there should be a cocktail treat cup. I almost said cocktail shaker. So you could make a sparkling “drink” with sanitizing gel and glitter.
So tonight I was waiting for 2 a.m. to arrive, so I could see the 6 a.m. post, and I saw 1:56 and 1:59, then 1 a.m.! My smart phone knew it was time to Fall Back. Whew! So glad to be back on schedule with you guys.
    Enjoy the party!
    Love,
    Donita

  13. Hi Sue. Lost all reception yesterday so now it's time to catch up. If only I'd had this set a few months ago when asked for a lass that enjoyed the odd cocktail, I like to please my customers whenever possible, this time I had to apologise and go for her option B which was wine. Never again will I have to say no when asked ☺
Off to fill my morning with what I missed yesterday afternoon and hope the same doesn't happen later.
My two out greeting the peaceful sunrise alongside fields of sheep and hedge rows with feeding pheasants - so peaceful and lovely.

    Have a peaceful day Sue.

  47. Hi Sue
Oh this is a set you could have great fun with, I'm thinking the coloured pva glues would make great swirly colours in the 'glass' or would sit well for layered cocktails or pixie powders for multicoloured ones( do they work with hand sanitiser I wonder), oh the creative juices are flowing! Yes I'm partial to the odd cocktail or two, our daughter led us astray for her 21st Birthday and took us to a great place with an extensive cocktail menu and some were served in plastic scull glasses! Really different t but great fun.

  101. Had to refer to Sam as I want those stamps that are to come. The "Its Five o"clock somewhere" is popular here and the different glass types, so cute!
I think of this glass style as a martini glass which has gotten to be popular here...as in Martini Bars and so on. My preference is the next set with my "girlie" drinks which must be enjoyed at the beach...my favorite place. I have a group of buddies who would get a kick out of these dies. 3D makes this even more fun and yes, got to do acetate!
Donita, so donuts are not your passion but brownies are your Achilles's heel. Never knew anyone who reacts quite like you.

  127. Hello Sue,
Brilliant die set and I love the 5 o'clock somewhere, must remember to quote that next time I feel the need for early drink lol. Love the fact you can make the glass 3D. The background stamp is a clever addition to compliment this die set.

I'm on catch up so must be brief
